Up for sale is a Remington 700 custom built by Aaron Roberts of Roberts Precision Rifles. The factory rifle had some timing issues with the bolt and Dan Armstrong out of Alaska fixed the timing on the bolt and installed the bolt arm with knob that you see. Aaron trued the action and cerakoted the bolt. He spun up and cerakoted a 26" Bartlein M24 contour barrel that shoots quarter MOA with PRIME ammo and hand loads. An American Precision Arms Fat Bastard muzzle brake tops off the barrel. The trigger is a Jewel trigger setup with safety, set to 1lb with no creep. The barreled action is sitting in a Master Piece Arms bolt action competition chassis. A Seekins 20moa rail sits atop the action. The grip was upgraded to the fatter MPA grip with thumb rest. The rifle will ship with a Pelican Rifle case, (2) 10 round AI AICS magazines, (1) 10 round Accurate magazine, (2) Armageddon gear AI mag pouches, and a Harris Bi-pod with quick throw lever, picatinny rail connector, and Hawk Hill Talons for the bipod.
The rifle has 1200 rounds on the barrel with plenty of life left and shoots better than I do. Barrel shot great around 2820 fps with Berger 140 Hybrids and H4350. I used this rifle in a couple PRS matches and local precision matches. Unfortunately traveling for work called for some sacrifices and I just don't have the time for shooting rifle matches at this point in my life. There's far more than what I'm asking in all of this, my loss is your gain.
