I indeed do have a deep "love" for them if you can call it that. Its more of a love of watching the acrobatics routine they put on when you feed them some lead.

Rawlins is kind of a stretch from here but damn sure doable. I have about 250 acres of praire dogs about a mile from the house so I shoot a ton of them. I also know a few other good towns within an hour of town so if I burn the town out at the house, I can give them a break and vist some of there long lost cousins.

Re: Wyoming Shooters

Yeah I use a 22-250 as well that has the Chad Dixon touch. Shots better than I can. If you ever make it up this way come late spring/summer look me up. I can take you to some decent towns.

Re: Wyoming Shooters

We will hook up. I like to go out on the Shirley Basin area. You can shoot to 900-1000 real easy. Alot of cactus and sagebrush and some buffalo grass. It's a shooters paradise. My dogs vet lives on a ranch down by Saratoga and our vet asked me to come out and shoot out the little fellers for her in the spring or summer because they are over run. It's the Kelly Land & Cattle Company. Big piece of property.

Re: Wyoming Shooters

Sweet. Ya you can get 2500-3000 yards about .5 miles from the house so distance is not a problem here. I have heard of the Kelly ranch before it seems like. There is a few hide members up here that we could get together and do a shoot someday.
