Thank you Kraig. Rawlins has a real good range that goes out to 1000 yds and you can put at least 20 shooters on the line with plenty of room to spare. I'll be going into Cody next month and hopefully I'll be able to check the facility out.
Brian, there are a few ranges around Wyoming if you shoot 600-1000yds. First check out the Wyoming State Shooters Association website for state matches, also has a club finder and a few have links. I have shoot pistol (steel) matches at Dubois but they have a rifle range as well. I have shot the Wyoming F-class state match in Worland as well as in Laramie this year both at 1000yds. Caspar has the 600yd State matches, and I hear Camp Guernsey now has a 1000yd range. Cheyenne has mostly 600yd but maybe could stretch to 800yd. Rawlins has 1000yd but no pits as of yet, I shoot the Steel Challenge matches at the outdoor range in Rawlins and the action pistol sometimes in the indoor range in the Rawlins Recreation Center during the winter months. Also you can shoot 600-1000yd in Lander when they have a match there, Lander Valley Sportsman's Association is the website. If need any other info let me know Rich
Cheyenne has a 700 yard range, members only though.

I shoot steel on a regular basis from 500-1400yds in the Riverton/Lander area. Hit me up of you want to shoot. Hope things are going well for you up in Teton.

I have some land out in Sweetwater just outside of Rawlins north of Riner Road. Hopefully I'll make it out there for the summer. If I do could I look you all up? I'd like to do some LR shooting with others that shoot LR.
Hey guys, moving to Cheyenne in May from Georgia. Never shot past 600 yards. Looking forward to living in an area that can facilitate longer shots.
