Xero failures

sometimes you can tell by looking at the circuit board or parts.

Mine gave some really weird readings with the odd with subsonic .22LR while rifle mounted, like half the approximate velocity, then gave a really inaccurate SD when I deleted the shot. Annoying but not a hige deal. Centerfire has had no issues.
The unit will recalculate your AVG and ES when you delete shots, but not the SD for some reason. If you send the session to the APP and delete the shots there, it will recalculate everything including SD. Odd little bug.
In fact, in the app you don’t even have to delete them. You can “ignore” the ones you don’t want in your calculations, and it will keep them logged but not use them in the calculations.

If the PCB had vibrational or shock damage, meaning that components flew off, that would be a sign. However, that could also come from drops or poor manufacturing. The burden of proof would be theirs. I bet it would be repaired. Garmin is pretty good about those kind of things.

I see, gotcha.

The software upgrade I'm really hoping for is the ability to pre-name and also load/resume previous sessions onto the unit.

Before I leave for the range it would be nice to have Session 1: ammo A, Session 2: ammo B, Session 3: ammo C all setup and then be able to switch back and forth between them.

Garmin if you're following this thread that would be pretty cool.

I've been requesting that since Day 1.
