I've had my Savage 10 PC out twice now. The first time was just trying to settle in with it. Yesterday's range trip revealed just how uncomfortable the Accustock is, and that's with a Triad stock pack added.

So I've decided that the XLR may be the way to go. Hopefully I'll be able to get one ordered up in a couple weeks. While I wait for the chassis I'd like to get everything else ready. So for a couple questions to XLR owners.

One, what height rings are you running. At this moment I have Vortex/Seekins lows, holding a Bushy 3-12x44 Elite. From the looks of it I'll need high rings? I can do the math, just wondering what you're using.

Two, bottom picitiny rail. I have a Accu-Shot piece for my Atlas. Any idea it'll fit on the XLR?

I guess that's really it for now. Besides picking up an AICS mag, it should drop right in. I was hoping to live with the Accustock a little longer, but it really is a POS. I'm thinking the XLR should make it a joy to shoot.

I am running Seekins/Vortex highs with my PST 50mm obj.

No clue on second question.

You are going to love the XLR. Have taken mine to range a few times since getting it completed. Love it. Already saving for the second one for my 223 trainer and will likely get another for my 338 Edge build that I will start in a couple of months.

Accu shot will fit, just have to get the monopod rail from kyle when you order. Mine should be here tomorrow according to ups tracking. Cant wait been waiting awhile. Seems I always want the odd things. Getting carbon xlr 15.5" folder with tactical buttstockand monpod rail with an extra HG rail piece. Its goin on a savage also.
