XLR Chassis Stock

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

Do you think this will impact customers with June/July delivery date?

--------------------------

We have a current delay for those of you that have chassis ready to be shipped out.

One of the few parts that we do not make in house are our butt stock buffer tubes. Our current supplier, Spikes Tactical, has promised that I would have these for over 6 weeks now. They have been our supplier since we started so our demand is no surprise for them. For some reason, Spikes has chosen to treat our business as "not important" as they refuse to address the delay. The few responses I get to my inquires are short and rude. We have sourced another supplier for these tubes and we take our first delivery at the end of May. If some how I do get the buffer tubes from Spikes in before that time, the orders will be filled and shipped immediately.

We greatly appreciate everyone's patience with us and are sincerely sorry for the delay you have encountered.

Please contact us with any questions.

I just find it odd that I read about this on here first and not by an email or phone call directly to the buyers waiting...

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

If those "receiver extentions" "buffer tube" are normal carbine type, look at other suppliers such as Bravo Company, CMT, Colt, LMT, etc for a steady supply.
Nothing personal about it and not sure why but there was/is a huge "rush" of butt monkey fanboy with their carbines, maybe it's the logo?

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

First time poster long time lurker. Just wanted to say I got the call today from Kyle the chassis is on its way I should have it by Friday, good for the long weekend. Kyle was great but it was hard to wait. 15 weeks seemed like forever, but it should be worth it. Thanks Kyle!

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

Kyle,
Does the tactical buttstock come pre-drilled and tapped for the mono-pod rail, if I don't order the rail with my chassis? I am using a wedge bag right now, but may upgrade later. I just wanted to know if I would have to send in that piece for drilling later on? Thanks, Ian Sturgill order #824

It comes drilled, just buy the rail segment later

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

ok xlr chassis is sitting on my desk! i am overwhelmed with excitement. there's not much chance of me getting any work done today. tried to take some pics with my cell phone but they just aren't worth posting. but believe me as soon as i get home tonight i'm going to drop my action in this thing and there will be pics posted. kyle did an awesome job. totally worth the wait. this chassis is so comfortable to shoulder. wow. and its surprisingly light. cannot wait!

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

Kyle when i ordered my chassis for my howa i ordered a bronze or whatever that color one was. Now you dont show that as an option is it still available, or just black and green. Thanks, Matt Carr

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

not sure on the weight. ill check it out tomorrow. straight taper 1.25" krieger. its heavy but i love the weight. for some reason i cant stand light rifles and pencil barrels. just my personal preference.

Re: XLR Chassis Stock

Took out the XLR to my first long range shooting match today. I scored a perfect on the first 2 rounds and an 87/100 on the 3rd round and won the match. First time I had ever done a match and the wind was blowing about 20 with 30 gusts. Thanks Kyle you did an awesome job.

Well, Friday will be 12 weeks for mine and still no word. The product looks amazing and when I do hear from Kyle he's very responsive. But it takes days to hear back...so I would beg to differ and say you can find better customer service. That and you only hear about delays if you come on here, no one calls or emails those waiting to say anything.
