Seems to be 2 model numbers.
    202212 and 202222

From what I can see, same scope but 222 doesn’t have red parts and is $400-500 less.

Is this all? I don’t like the red but I ain’t paying that much to get rid of it

Where are you finding that price difference?? I'm not searching the web to find the best price on either, as I don't want one, but:
The MSRP's of 202212 & 20222 are exactly the same from Burris, so it must be a supply and demand thingee. I guess nobody likes the Red. Go figure....

    Burris XTR Pro

The red option was how they came originally, I think they quickly found out a lot of folks were not fond of it so they offered an all black version. As far as I've ever read aside color, they are identical .

Burris street prices are all over the place and fluctuate often. Sometimes the red version is cheaper, sometimes the black, sometimes the SCR 2 or SCR 2 1/4 is cheapest, who knows why. I've seen the black SCR 2 1/4 version dip well under $1500 the last couple weeks at some shops. Meanwhile those same shops still want $1300 for an XTR III, makes no logical sense.

I have a thread on this somewhere. Or at least I think I discussed it in that thread.

I bought the black 1/4 MIL version. It came with some items the Red Standard SCR II didn’t.

Not sure if that was because it was the black version or 1/4 Mil version?

The extras it came with definitely weren’t worth $200.

There is no physical difference between the scopes besides the color.

The 1/4 MIL version had tended to be more expensive for some reason. Not sure lately. Haven’t checked in awhile.

What "extras" were there? All the ones I've seen are exactly the same minus color
