I currently have Midas TAC 5-25 on my 18" M&P 10 that I want to use for hunting. It's way more scope than I need right now and was looking at the Burris XTRIII 3.3-18x50. Just reading reviews, everyone says the larger 5.5-30x has better glass all-around but does it have comparable FOV and forgiving eye-box at lower mag? I can fit a longer scope on my rifle just fine but would it be worth spending extra on the x30 scope?
