But words of advice don't start a "I'm tired of all of the cop bad press" threads and get pissy when people post bad press. If cops continue to do stupid shit like the they did one in the tread referenced above, they are going to get bad press.

Where after a lengthy discussion between him, myself, and others, gave "logical explinations" that were not unreasonable, yet he continues to go on posting the same crap, even after he "appeared" to understand what was being explained.
And again, no one is telling you to stop posting LE screw ups. Couldnt have one post without that reminder, can we? God knows some fucking heads may explode if that ever happens. I am telling you to stop posting it in THIS thread. There are more than enough toilet threads here where you can go flush that shit into. Thats the other point I was trying to make. Make a post of cops screwing up and ooohhhh, cant get enough. Like flies on shit. Make one about cops doing good and HOLY SHIT! How the fuck did that happen? Lets see if we can shit on it enough so it looks like the rest of the threads, because we couldnt have it any other way, can we? Yeah, theres logic. We get it, there is another side to the story. If you havent noticed in the "cops screw up" threads, the other side never gets a warm welcome in those either. Wouldnt "logic" dictate the same? No one is saying you are wrong, at least in your information. Your wrong for trying to dump on the purpose of this thread. And if after 2 pages now, you still fail to realize that, then yeah, there just might be some ignorance, lack of logic, or just flat out irrational.
This thread was more about respect than recognition, thanks rather than praise. I knew it would shake the tree and make for a few sore vaginas, but this thread was for the 99% that are doing the good you see in these articles, while the 1% get 99% of the headlines. Everyday I get emails for "Officer down". You probably wont see a headline on that, at least not in the front page, probably not even the 3rd. Nor will you see how many times a day I get one of those, and thats just in the US. So I do understand how some can easily dismiss exactly what kind of a sacrifice these men and women make, or are willing to make. The news papers will always put the crap in. They, much like a vast majority of posters, either dont know, dont care, or dont want to know about those sacrifices. Its just simple and easy to suck up the garbage and spit it back out over and over. If you are looking for a debate, fine, I am more than happy to. But its no longer going to be in here. I am sure someone with an ego, or agenda, or is just purely ignorant ,will, without hesitation, put up one of the more favorable topics of how the next cop screwed up.</span>
