I'd like to think that I'm starting to get the hang of reading these things but it's always good to get more opinions.
I was unhappy with the accuracy I was getting with my Savage FTR 308 shooting 175gr pills. I tried SMKs and Berger LRBTs and while it will shoot sub MOA (.75 @ 300yds) with these I just felt that it was capable of being a sub 1/2 MOA rifle.
Today I stuffed some cases full of Varget and topped them with SMK 155gr Palmas and headed to the range. Here's the results

The first thing you will notice is that there are only 2 holes in the 46.5 target but there are 4 holes in the 46.8 target. How could that happen you ask. I screwed up
that hole in the center of the 46.8 target should be on the 46.5 one. You've heard of ppl cross shooting targets at matches at 600 or 1000 yds, well I did it at 100 yds
Using my limited knowledge I have decided that the 45.6 group would probably be my best node with possibly another at 46.8. What do y'all think?
Before I make my next statement I need to say that "I know 3 shots does not a group make" so don't yell at me it's all I had left.
I had loaded 6 rnds of each so seeing as I had 3 rnds left of each weight I decided to try them out at 300 yds I won't bore you with the results of all of them but I will tell you I was 1/2 right I think
According to OnTarget the 45.6 load @ 300 yds = 0.851" or 0.271MOA. The 46.8 load didn't fare to well it was 2.93" just barely under 1 MOA. More testing to follow.
