Yo Dave spring

For those of you that have swapped out your spring, did you notice a real improvement over the stock one? are you glad you did it?

Not sure what model you're asking about but I have used them a couple of times and they're great.

I assume you mean for a CZ 455 or similar model. Yeah the lightest of the group of springs they send works like a charm for me.

I have changed 2 CZ 455 Varmints and my Tikka T1X. Great improvement on all.

Be aware that, on a CZ-455, the lightest spring/shim combinations may result in the bolt pulling (or falling) out of the receiver.

Embarrassing to have bolt fall out in the middle of a stage. Ask me how I know.

A buddy of mine milled a bolt-stop screw into his Manners stock to preclude this issue. He's got that 455 running right - no mods other than YoDave and stock and he usually makes us Vudoo owners look like spendthrifts.

Shipping cost from Canada is absurd - it's import stuff, not YoDave jacking up the price. Hint: you can ship multiple kits for same price as one.

@DownhillFromHere - its not just an issue with the yo dave springs. its also the timney trigger. ask ME how i know that...

thats one of the nice things about the 457, separate bolt stop
