Looking for new guys to sling lead with. I'm in York county, just a short drive from Maryland and Harrisburg. I can shoot to 300 at my local club. Would love to shoot farther. Either way, looking for some shooting buddies so I don't get so damn bored at the range by myself. Pm me on here if you'd like to meet up for some noise making!

live outside baltimore and moving into the city in the next couple weeks, we have a private 800-1200 yard range in central WV if anybody is willing to make the drive. from what i have gathered over the past four years of getting into long range shooting, is most ranges are worthless, and most people when given the opertunity to shoot long range pass.

hey guys; i shoot at new holland every chance i get. its no 1000 yard range but 600yds is fun,w/steel from 200 out to 635 yds.

Is that club steel on the range? I just joined New Holland and have yet to attend the orientation. I am in NJ, so it is a 110 mile drive, but I will start going after the new year. I belong to Mifflin which has a 1000-yard range but that is more than 3 hrs from me. Will hit that one as next year as well. So, would love to meet some guys at the ranges when I start heading out that way. Right now I shoot at Central Jersey which is 300 meters.

I'm just south of the city in AA county. I'm just getting back into shooting and want to get into long range once I get some more range time in.

I was over to New Holland last month for an IDPA, what a beautiful facility. Are guests allowed or is the rifle range members only? I'm in the York, PA area as well.

I'm in Downingtown, PA and I'm also looking to join a long distance range. My current range only goes to 100yds.

I've taken a bunch of SI training classes at Palmyra Sportsmans Club in Hershey.

I'm signed up for the Mogadishu Mile competition at New Holland this Saturday. Gonna join NHRPC as well as join Mifflin which goes out to 1050 yds in Lewistown, PA

I've been thinking about joining Mifflin too. Seems very affordable even if I only get out there once in a while. Can anyone tell me if the 300,500,1000 yd ranges there are open to use during normal hours or only certain times? Some of the 'longer' ranges I've checked out only shoot on the 500+ ranges at certain random times. Any info would be appreciated

They are open during normal hours unless there is something going on at the range ie comps or classes. They seem to be pretty good about putting events up on the calendar on there webpage so you would know ahead of time.

Help contacting someone in Silver Spring MD.
A gentleman named Paul Gallagher sent me a valuable package by mistake [ I think ] . The return address is incomplete . Any help returning the package would be appreciated.

Sorry to Hi Jack the thread

Just received my membership card for Mifflin! I'll definitely be taking a drive out there soon. Are there any gun shops fairly close the range or that i'd pass on the way out there that stock a good supply of ammo, reloading supplies, etc that a prisoner of NY could take advantage of? Any replies or PM's with local info would be great

Hey guys,

I just saw this post and although it's an old one I'm going to throw out a line. I'm in Lancaster and belong to the Southern Lancaster County Farmer Sportsmen's Association (just north of MD off 272). Our range only goes to 300. I was on the waiting list for New Holland for two years now and have given up. On another thread I read about the Mifflin County club. It looks decent and affordable. Looks to be about a two hour drive for me but to get into long rang shooting I don't have much choice. If any of you "closer" guys want to try to get together once in a while at each other's ranges that would be great. I'm always up for a change of scenery. I can take guests at our range as well. PM me if anyone is interested and we can try to work something out.
