well this is it..... and after looking at it. i think when i get some more money iam going to change it around and make it all brown but a more dark brown like leaves would be not that light colored sandy brown, after thinking and thinking i have a pretty good idea that i wanna try i think you will be impressed

i think the HK gods will hate me for this lol... oh well f*ck em'

if i wanna do field craft and "blend in" she has the be painted it was not gonna be a show rifle from the start so.

Re: you said keep going so i did

Very good job of altering the shape signatures.

As for light/darkness, I think you're about as dark as I'd go.

My own experience leads me to note that such implements are almost always employed in shaded places. In such situ, lighter objects fade in better than darker ones. Shadowing tends to darken and subdue the shades of solid objects.

i like it to... how ever where iam the ground all summer long is covered in all kinds of brown colored leaves, dark brown light, sand brown ect.. so i might toss some darker brown and green and maybe even black into this mix as i stair at it

Re: you said keep going so i did

I was writing on your other thread about how I liked the green/black two tone, but it's even better now. You have a good base color there, some accents would work nice. I like the open pattern look you have. It always seems to me that getting the pattern too "busy" and cluttered makes it stand out more in a negative way.

Since you have a nice fade for a backdrop, you could take some heavy cardboard and rip it to give you some jagged stencils to hold up and get some sharp lines in the small accents. The combination of the sharp lines that fade to nothing with the darker colors really give the appearance of depth and shadow.

What are you using for paint?

Re: you said keep going so i did

on this rifle i used krylon mainly cause its easy to take off if i decided i didnt like it, it turns out i love it so iam not sure if i will take all the paint off later on and duracoat it so it with stands the solvents i use to clean it or just stick with the krylon and touch it up every now and then or what

i agree with you, if you get to technical then it just looks like a cluster f*ck , i just wish i would have used a dark brown or a darker green like a dark olive and a dark chestnut color
