YouTube spec ops sniper movie review.

From this picture of the ‘special ops sniper’ I’m guessing this is a photo of him in regular army sniper school? Maybe in his unit 3rd Ranger Batt but I doubt a gun would be set up like that at an operational sniper unit.

I know SFSC/SOTIC stopped using the M24 in 2012 if I remember correctly. Also he is using his safety, and his scope ring gaps look about right for regular army.

That image I believe is from when he competed in the International Sniper Comp. I had a DVD of one of the comps (09-12 ish) and he's visible in the background.

Good on him for taking a ragtag rifle set up. Dudes that go now are fully kitted out with custom guns that they’d never take on a deployment. I wonder what sniper course he went to and the time period, that being his scope of choice for the comp.

The pic of him they used I’d assume he provided or was easily found online. If I was representing the SOF sniper community I sure as hell wouldn’t want that picture posted.

we all know that to be a good long distance shooter you have to be someone who is very detail orientated. His weapons set up looks like absolute ass. I didn’t watch the video after seeing that pic.
