Night Vision Zeiss 8x30 PRF Laser Rangefinder

Hello,

Could any of you learned gentlemen give me some advice on the operation of my LRF? I have read the instruction manual and followed everything but it only seems to range about 10% of the time. I need an LRF that will range dependably 99% of the time and I thought the Zeiss was of fairly good quality when I purchased it.

Only ranges 10% of the time at all distances....or just very far ones like 1,000 yards?

Running a range finder isn't rocket science. If it's not working well at 500 yards and you've tried a new battery then it's likely not you. Send it in for repair or just return it and get a new one depending on it's age.

I dont mean any offence by this, but if you have not replaced the battery, try that. I have seen one other zeiss that did the same thing with a faulty new battery
