I'm brand new on here and this is my first post..I have a Zeiss Rapid Z 1000 4.5-14x50 I have it on my SSG .308...I have heard that you can range with it, but I am unable to find any information on how to do so. I was hoping that someone would be able to explain how to do it or point me in the right direction.

Go to the Zeiss home page and follow the Rapid-Z reticle menus.
To make a long story short, the vertical wire above the horizontal is graduated into 2 MOA indices at max power, or whatever power is designated for that particular device.
The Rapid-Z In Action will explain it all.
