Rifle Scopes Zeiss Spotter help.

I have a Zeiss 15-45x65 spotting scope and looks like there are black spots on my lens.I have cleaned the outsides of the lens and took the eye piece out and cleaned it and the spots are still there.Is there a way that stuff could get behind the lens?What can I do if anything or call Zeiss and send it in??Thanks

First things first....Are the spots in the eyepiece or in the tube? This will assist when you call Zeiss. It could be flaking from the interior coatings. If so, call 1-800-441-3005 ext 4# and speak with either Kris or Sanja. Explain the situation to them and they will take excellent care of the situation.

I'd probably give Zeiss a call. They took care of me when my rifle scope was in a safe and went through a tornado and the reticle and parallax knob had been messed up and they paid the shipping and replaced the reticle and knob and gave it a good lookover JMO....

I'm pretty sure they are in the tube little black spots around the outside edge.Thanks for the help.
