Sorry to go political, but the people(the director/Sony) who make this film are big Nobama supporters. Please don't put money in their pocket. Remember what they want to do to our 2nd Amend.

Saw that today, looks cool. I'll have to check it out. With Hurt Locker, Act of Valor and Zero Dark Thirty... there will be at least 3 or 4 more movies coming out in the same genre. Can't wait...

Sure hate to hear that such good subject matter is being put into a movie by Anti Gun People..

Couple of items of note:
1. The film was actually underway (how much finished i dont know) when the story of the Bin Laden raid broke. The filmakers decided to stop and re-do it.
2. There is definitely controversy here. The filmakers were given unprecedented access to members of the team on the raid as well as the planners of the raid itself.
3. I dont expect this movie to be an accurate depiction of the events. Lot of it seems to center on intelligence gathering and planning more than the SEAL Teams so it seems more political thriller with action mixed in and likely only at the end. Which is fine by me. Remember the story was already in place when the actual story broke so this was always intended to be fictional. It's likely that details were changed to make it more accurate but i wouldnt call this a "based on actual events" type of film. So things like the script calling for a raid to occur in some small village in Afghanistan was corrected for example.
4. Obama has absolutely no role in this movie. No cameo. No mention. Nothing.
