Rifle Scopes Zero Stop

Re: Zero Stop

You're probably SOL then from a manufacturer's standpoint.

Generally if the manufacturer doesn't already offer a zero stop feature with their scopes then it's probably not possible to have it retrofitted. Even if the manufacturer did offer a zero stop feature for some of their scopes it doesn't mean you can get it on any model.

You can make your own using shims underneath of the turret cap to prevent the cap from going all the way down and keeping you close to your zero point. It takes some trial and error and pretty much only works with scopes that have resettable, target type turrets.

I made one for the Nikon (on my wife's gun now). Here's a good thread for it.

Re: Zero Stop

it looks to me like the outside of that inner turret is what actually limits the travel. The only thing I can think of is in the first picture with the turret cap off, there is a slot cut into that inner flange on the right side that goes all the way up and out, perhaps something could be shoved into there so when you adjust down it would contact that and keep if from going all the way down.
