"Poster Child of US Gun Control Movement" commits suicide while jailed for DUI.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. OCTOBER 31, 2021

"Poster boy for the US gun control movement" Mark Glaze, 51 years old, a vehemently anti-gun, pro LGBT school indoctrination activist turned policymaker who helped write Obama's gun policy and take on the NRA, committed suicide in Lackawanna County Jail while being held on a DUI charge and "abandoning the scene of a vehicle accident resulting in injuries and deaths".

MORE:

----------
  • Mark Glaze, a prominent gun control advocate, died by suicide on October 31st, at Lackawanna County Prison, Pennsylvania, following a DUI arrest in September
  • He was arrested for fleeing the scene of a car accident involving death or personal injury, abandoning a vehicle on the highway and careless driving
  • Glaze, 51, was once referred as the 'face of the gun movement' by the WSJ and is credited as being one of the main founders of the anti-2A campaign
  • He worked for some of the largest gun-control advocacy groups in the US, including Everytown for Gun Safety, and cared for LGBTQ and human rights
  • He also served as an advisor to the Commission on Federal Election Reform led by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker
  • Glaze came from Colorado, where his parents owned and ran a gun store, backed by the NRA
  • Prior to his death, Glaze struggled with alcohol, depression and anxiety

Some snippets from the article:

----------
We pray that by being open about Mark's cause of death, something positive may emerge from our devastating loss.'
----------

Um, everything about his death is pretty positive to me... I found it HILARIOUS.

----------
Enough is enough, let's finally get this right.''
----------

That's exactly what he said on the night of October 31, 2021, at Lackawanna County Jail...

----------
..."leaving behind a country wrecked by gun violence"...
----------

Oh please... Ya'll fucking parasites ain't seen what real gun violence looks like. Keep forcing the clot jabs down our kids' throats, let trannies rape our kids in schools and covering up for them, and taking away our livelihoods and jobs and you might find out.

Firearms Wts: Robert Gradous built Impact 737 rifle in 6br.

Hey all,

Have a super nice rifle here that I’ve been sitting on for a bit. It was built and barreled by Mr. Gradous and shoots lights out.

The rifle includes:

Impact 737r Short action with 308 bolt face
Bartlein 24” Heavy Palma 6br barrel (approx 800 rounds through)
Triggertech Diamond flat black single stage
Masterpiece Arms Matrix Chassis in a raw finish

Yes, the matrix was sourced raw when I purchased it. I originally planned to put a nice custom paint job on it but fell in love with the raw look when assembled.

This thing is amazing and Robert did a fantastic job. This is ready for someone to really enjoy and I just don’t have the time right now, so it’s gotta go.

I am NOT parting this out at this time and no trades. Optic, bipod, silencer NOT included.

Asking Price: $3650.00 Shipped

Payment methods: PayPal F&f (you cover fees if not) or Venmo, maybe CC over phone.

Shipping method: USPS priority mail with full insurance from my FFL to yours.

For those who bed their uppers…

Is the upper toast when it’s time for a new barrel, or were you able to get it out of the upper with some heat and re-use it?

Will Loctite 620 come off of the barrel extension and upper pretty easy if you needed to pull the barrel for something, and reinstall it?

I’m finishing up a new build this week with a CLE Krieger Recon 5.56 barrel and would like to put it together. The rub is that the threads are 5/8x24, and I would like to pull the barrel back off eventually to have it recut to 1/2x28, so I can run my OCM5 can when the government gives me my permission slip. I’m guessing it’ll be about a year before I see the can. I currently have a couple muzzle devices I can use to run my Omega in the meantime, until that day comes. I need to know if bedding it before I get it recut is a bad idea or not.

Firearms Terminus Zeus SA, TT, 2 Bolts

Have a lightly used Terminus Zeus SA with a trigger tech (primary? I’ll pull to see can’t remember on this one. Have mag face bolt and a standard face bolt. Standard bolt as mpa knob on it. Asking $1500 happy to send more pics, just let me know what you want to see. This is just what I had on my phone.

Rifle Scopes Athlon Cronus gen 1 BTR Glass quality

I purchased a 4.5x29 Cronus BTR Gen One about A year ago but was deployed so I couldn't use it until now . When I took it to the range I noticed the glass quality was poor at high magnification 20 plus.. Very milky And washed out. I would expect this for one of their lower end models . But this was not an inexpensive scope.Anyone else having this issue ?

New gun.

I'm going to finally shoot my Blackhole Weaponry/Columbia River Arms 6.5 creedmore tomorrow 11/07/2021.Was wondering about barrel break in.I was told to use copper jacketed ammo for the first 60 rds. and to clean the bore after each rd. through the first 10 then after each 5rds through the first 60.The barrel is a 24" stainless bull barrel with a full muzzle break.

Optics WTS Vortex

3x Micro Magnifier. It has been to the range once. Bought new about 2 months ago. Was on my AR pistol, which I sold so now I don’t need this. Comes with box, which is bent a bit because I didn’t realize it was under some heavy stuff, but all original factory stuff included.

Asking 235.00 shipped.

will accept Venmo, PP FF, USPS MO as forms of payment.

will have pics up later.

SOLD Gone

Original owner of the scope which has seen the light usage.

Works flawlessly and it does track without an issue. Mostly a safe queen.

Comes with scope in original box as well as scope caps.

No real marks or issues with the exception of the famed battery cap having slight rash.

Only reason I’m selling it is because I just sold the rifle it was on.

(Picture will be posted.)

$2600.00 or BO plus shipping.

Home coffee roasters

I saw another member, @Belt fed , made a comment in the Aeropress thread about roasting your own. My wife noticed I had become a little obsessive about coffee about a year ago and bought me a gift assortment of green coffee beans and a grinder for christmas. We had an air popper that got retasked as a roaster and I havent looked back since. Very satisfying to order small amounts of beans from far away places and roast them yourself. I have learned a lot in the last year.

For the record, the first bag out of my gift box of green coffee beans has turned into my favorite, Dominican Republic Ramirez Estate Honey processed beans. At first the flavors from these beans were overwhelming to my folgers tainted palate but it is what I have come to expect from my coffee now. I cant even drink grocery store coffee anymore. Anyone else roast their own?

KRG Bravo

How well are you impressed from your personal experience?

It seems like a nice setup, modularity, price, everything most people seem to be raving about... all legit

My biggest concern is how will the forearm hold up with temp extremes. I happen to live in an area where it can get as high as 100 but also as bad as minus 35

Realizing this isn’t specifically Kydex, but I’ve seen a lot of Kydex and polymer get brittle and break or crack... it’s an issue... not always, but one never knows

The other thing I see about this system that a lot of people seem to have commented about is feeding, especially the 700’s, getting the magwell dialed in good for reliability and rounds catching under the receiver below the feed ramp. Although anyone running Magpul AICS mags does not seem to be reporting this issue.

Ever had your action in another quality stock, swap into the Bravo, and see any improvement or degradation?

Is the system really rigid enough, and what have you experienced recoil wise due to the difference in resonance?
