Up for sale is my Tommy Built T7 in RAL8000. It is in fantastic condition, I have about 100 rounds through it, the mag release has been replaced with the updated one, bolt has been replaced with a newer one from TB.

The package includes the folding grip, stock, German back plate, pistol back plate, old surefire light (doesn’t work), backpack, 30rd & 40rd mags, extra charging handle.

Currently on form 1, I will send a letter to the ATF to have it removed from the registry upon receiving payment and return it to pistol configuration.

I am trying to decide between RimX, Vodoo V-22 and new, soon to be released Tikka T1x ACE. I know Tikka hasn't been released, I have Tikka T1x 20" in MDT Oryx chassis (see the pic below) and it has been very accurate, so I am leaning towards Tikka T1x ACE. Is RimX or Vodoo give me better accuracy than Tikka ? What's the consensus of RimX vs Vodoo in terms of accuracy?
I am not planning to compete much, maybe some. This is more for benchrest shooting, plinking and similar activities.

For sale, Nightforce ATACR 4-20x50 MIL-XT reticle. Great scope and only mounted for a short while and shot a handful of times. Condition is excellent. The only thing that stands out to me is theres a couple small snail trail type markings on the detachable sun shade. Otherwise, all good.

The rifle is factory built, and shows very little wear, it is also within the serial number range of rifles slated to go to SOCOM, but I have no way of confirming if it ever made its way there. Lastly is my Remington Defense upper that was built for the secret service solicitation. It made it to the final stages of the trials and ultimately lost to the currently used Knights upper.

Only 10 of these uppers were made, 6 of which were sent to the USSS for testing, this is one of the 6. Because of that it shows signs of wear, but is overall very good condition. It features an 11.5” 5.55 medium-heavy profile barrel, aac 90t flash hider for the more modern AAC suppressors, and Nickel Boron BCG.

Working on my new 6GT build and discovered a few issues I could use some advice on:

I think AT-X magazines will not work (technically I guess they are different than AW) in an MDT Chassis. Not a Huge issue, I only have the 1.

I also notice AICS mags are a pretty tight fit, and hard to get seated quickly and reliably (yes moar practice!)

AICS Mags give me problems with a fully loaded mag (10 rounds). The first two rounds will 'bind' or 'nosedive' aka they gett stuck in the mag and there appears to be too much tension (guessing here) to allow it to nose up into the chamber. After those first 2, everything is golden. I was doing load testing but my plan for the PRS matches is to just use a 12 round mag or maybe load 8 (I rarely get to 10 being old and slow). These are will seasoned mags I used with 308/6.5 and no issue.

Any advice would be welcome.

So….entering into my pre-geeper years (62), and looking to rest / massage these tired muscles. Scoping out a hot tub. I can’t find a legit answer on salt water tub vs conventional. Those who sell salt water say they are THE shit. Those who sell conventional say salt water tubs ARE shit. Anyone here have any experience with either. Looking at Caldera and Cal spas. 2-3 person. Hey. I hate that I have already sent the rifle off without getting to try my Griffin PSR can I had BSD Fabrication jail break for me to us with the CA762SSAL/RE flash hider. He used one of his warlock mounts which uses an 1.375 x 24 thread and I am sure if you wanted him he does the warden conversions and could use it. Only thing we did was put a tiny pin on the underside of the flash hider so it locks into the grove that a new style SureFire would use. It’s barely noticeable. Once again I wish I had a picture before it left to get a little repair work done.

I just wanted to share he did a real nice job was easy to deal with and did a good job of keeping me updated and did not mind me asking questions. I just wanted to share in case someone was looking for away to get a suppressor for their older style mount. I will give a complete update when the rifle comes home and I get to go shoot it. But here’s a few pictures.

It will need to be Cerakoted once I get it tested. Or I’ll just buy a mirage cover and won’t care because it will be covered up.

In good condition, glass is excellent. I took a picture of every blemish I could find on the scope, didn’t find any on the glass, lumina caps have been on since day 1.

Would this be a suitable scope for PRS or Long-range varmint Silhouette competition? How does the glass compare to a Nightforce Atcar 7-35x56mm

I have a bergara ridge sp in 223. Shoots great with factory stock but I prefer vertical grips and honestly, the look of chassis or aftermarket stocks.

I'm torn between a krg bravo and a ag composites armor.

My only concern is feeding from aics. I had a newer remington 700 that the mags from krg wouldn't feed last few rounds. they'd nose dive.

So what would you do?
Option 1: get a bravo and mag with extended latch and hope for the best while trying different mags

Option 2: buy the ag composites fiberglass stock without cheek riser and bdl and know it will feed but have to load from top all the time

Theyre roughly the same price and I only use it coyote hunting and off a bench out to 600 yards. No matches that require a mag.

Id also note that even with a mag I single load often, maybe that's because the one I had didn't feed lol

Hey guys, sorry for all the tripod questions. I thought I knew what I wanted, and then went down a rabbit hole after rabbit hole. I had no idea this topic was that deep.

So I'm here to take a step back and ask what I probably should have asked first, since I know next to nothing on the subject.

What would you guys recommend as the best bang for the buck tripod under $400. This is just the tripod legs, not a head. This will be used standing up and sitting down, and shooting and glassing with binos. This will prob be my one and only do everything tripod for the foreseeable future.

It's very overwhelming how many options there are. It seems like there's a big difference in heads, but I'm not so sure how different the actual tripods are. They all seem to be made out of relatively the same thing, and made mostly the same way. So maybe the legs aren't that big of a deal? You tell me.

So far, my best idea is the Aziak Front Country at about 350$.
