SOLD Remington 700 LA

I am selling a Remington 700 LA (Std bolt face), complete with bolt, bolt release, trigger, recoil lug, hardware, and bottom metal. This action was worked on by Score High Gunsmithing in Albuquerque, NM; however, I didn't have it done, so I can't say exactly what they did. The face of the receiver definitely looks like it has been trued, and the lugs have been lapped. They also pinned the recoil lug. Trigger breaks right at 2lbs.

Must ship to FFL from an individual. $550 shipped, PPFF preferred. I will also accept personal check or MO, but will hold item until clear and/or money in hand.

Top MS -13 leader arrested in Virginia! Seriously, no old lady getting beat up this time .

Hiding in a deep holler under a natural limestone outcrop with food and water .

No that part is a joke - he was in Woodbridge VA just south of DC. Had no reason to hide until now

Optics Sold

Moving some stuff out that doesn’t get used. I bought it for my wife but she prefers an Aimpoint over a LPVO. Great scope and should probably just leave it in the safe but it will soon turn into another AR and that’s the last the thing I need, lol. I prefer these over the gen3 1-10 Razor. Pictures tell the story, no scratches on the scope other that the coin slot on the turret caps. One scratch that’s visible on the included Reptilla mount. Scope is a little dusty but in excellent condition. $sold shipped with 1.54 mount. Pictured throw lever not included but factory lever is still in package.

Sled for Squirrel Zero?

I am testing ammo with a couple of .22 rifles at short range. I want to have confidence in squirrel head shots under 50 yards. I have been using front and rear bags because I used them in a PRS course.

Somebody suggested using a sled. I hadn't even thought about it. Is there any point in using a sled for this particular goal, or is it overkill for the purpose?

A "Bun" on the Nogen!

I recently made a post in the MPT about a guy who posts video shorts from YouTube that depict both the IDF and the Israeli Border Patrol etc. out on patrol in Jerusalem. You can see them on patrol armed/slung with AR and AK type rifles, etc. Here's a sample (there are more on his YouTube Channel):

If you look at the sample, you see a lot of uniformed female IDF and Border patrol soldiers. All of them have either "free flowing" or long braided pony tails. If I'm not mistaken, it is a "requirement" in the US Military (certainly the Marine Corps) and most if not all US LEAs that such long hair be tied up in a bun. This, for safety reasons. In live "hand-to-hand" combat scenarios, having a long pony tail gives one's opponent something to grab on to, to get an advantage in that combat. With the hair in a bun, it's a bit harder to do that. Not impossible, but harder. Likewise, for LEOs in a "class A" uniform, the "tie" is always a clip on. In case that gets pulled in combat, it will just fly off and not give the combatant any advantage.

Am I correct in re: the requirement for US Military/LE to "bun up" long hair like that? If so, then I'm curious as to how the IDF and Israeli Border patrol get away without doing the same. I can't imagine they don't train for hand-to-hand combat. What gives?

Thoughts?

Remember that time Boston state police spent a year

Trying to frame a lady for the murder of a dirty cop ?

And they had at least 250 murders , child rapists and fentanyl dealers just walking around conducting business - that the feds under new leadership rounded up in a few days - because they had pictures , knew their names and where they lived operated ? Yeah Pepperidge Farms remembers !

So the hands off oder was followed to man - so that not one pedo or mass murder had to worry about arrest or anyone getting in the way of their fentanyl trade .

These invading killers were not hiding in the woods or in caves , walking around metro areas without a care in the world - you might think you hate them enough but you don’t .
