Amnesia? Or Something Else?

She went missing for a couple days and then shows up at her father's house and doesn't remember anything and doesn't want to talk about anything. On the local news a couple days ago they said that she didn't take anything with her. Keys, purse, money and credit cards and car were still at her place
They are still investigating so let the possibilities begin. If they update the investigation I will try and post it.

Stress on upper?

Which is better, bipod closer to the barrel nut or farther on a heavy scopes SPR, I’m thinking the bipod closer to the barrel nut for less strain/leverage on upper where the barrel and rail connects. Is it enough to matter, does barrel nut torque make a difference here?
As the mag empties it changes the weight/strain on the upper. A heavy scope makes things even worse. It might not even make a difference in group size. I need to get out and try it.

Wireless chargers for phones etc

So my mom and dad I'd say for pushing 80 are doing really well with today's tech. They are iPhone/iPad users and really don't have too many hiccups, but the one thing that still happens from time to time is they sit them on the counter and forget to charge. Well....that's become a more common theme 'oh my battery is about to tap out'. So as they always set the phones down in the same place on the kitchen counter hey why not a wireless 'forget it' charging station?

If you have had good luck, bad luck or anything else you want to share please feel free expound as I want this to be easy for them. I bring it, plug it in and say 'keep putting your phones right where you always do please' and be done with it. Thanks

Fuel mileage from heavy duty trucks

So I recently ventured on my own starting a little one man plumbing company. I am driving around my old truck I have had for years enjoying the fact that it is a good old truck and it has been paid off for years.

It is an old Chevy 2500hd with the 8.1 liter gas. Before the ladder racks and ladders it would usually run between 10-12 mpg depending on speed and right foot. Now I have a topper with ladder racks and ladders as well as a couple 6inch tubes I use to store materials. Since adding these things I am usually around 8mpg. I am getting close for new tires and I know the tires on it are not helping either.

With the new Biden fuel prices, gassing up every few days is really eating into my profits.

I do a fair amount of towing so I am looking at another 2500 minimum. The one ton trucks with a van body or service body keep catching my eye do to the massive amount of storage they provide.

Would a one ton Diesel dually with one of these service or van bodys improve my fuel mileage at all? I realized the diesel engine is more money up front as well as higher maintenance. So that is surely a factor. But curious if a diesel truck would overcome the poor aerodynamics and weight of a work truck vs something like the big gasser I am currently driving.

Replacing this truck is not urgent but it will not last forever so I am trying to take my time and shop around and find what setup will be best for my uses.

'MORONIC' is here. DOOM!

Not loving the Geissele SSA, maybe I'm the problem...?

Hello all,

I've been running an SSA in for a while, and I keep thinking that the function of the trigger is not what I want (or maybe it's installed wrong... or out of spec?).

My issue is that after the reset, there is about a millimeter of take up. Contrast that to the handgun triggers I'm used to, which reset exactly to the "wall" such that applying more pressure will fire the weapon.

With the SSA, when I get the "click," and then go to shoot again, that tiny bit of take up just throws me off (and if I'm trying to make fast splits, it really messes with my rhythm--I'm not a competitive shooter, but shooting for splits helps me to measure my progress when training fundamentals).

Anyone else notice this? Is my trigger possibly installed incorrectly?

Thinking about switching to a single stage with a stronger reset. Purpose of the rifle is duty use. Recommendations?

Accessories French Bulldog Puppies

If this is a problem--please let me know. Ive sold all sorts of stuff on here, this wouldnt be the strangest thing...

Im expecting to have some French Bulldog puppies in the near future. Projected date for birth is Jan 22nd 2022 with them ready to go their new homes March 25th 2022. These dates will be finalized the week after Christmas when we get a firm date for the C section from our vet.

Sire and Dam are both AKC registered. Puppies will be AKC registered.
Pictures, videos, genetic testing on the parents and more info is available. Dam lives here with us in our house.

I will/should have some MALES from this litter available. I havent advertised them anywhere, nor taken any deposits. Quite frankly I thought I would give the Hide first shot before I did so. I also know very little at this time.

Pet price without breeding rights is $4500/ea full breeding rights will run you $6000/ea. (Stud fees start at $1500 it seems. We charge $2000 for stud plus one round of AI—just for your own reference.) Pickup here in SC or hand delivery is available for an additional fee.

Im expecting a strong square head with a muscularly stocky body and stance. Puppies should be 20-25lbs when full grown.
