I have been interested in picking one up to try out. For the money vs features it looks pretty good, but I can’t find any real world reviews from people who own them. Curious how they stack up against the 5-30 variant, or similarly (to slightly more expensive) priced scopes such as the Athlon Ares ETR / BTR Gen3, Athlon Cronus, DMR3, or Leupold MK4 HD.

I consider these more of a budget scope & haven’t really owned any, less the DMR line up to the Pro (haven’t owned a DMR3 yet). I am scaling down my firearms investments significantly so this is a new world for me.

Initially the scope will be on my Vudoo 22lr so short range parallax correction is a factor, but once I find a scope I like I will get another for a centerfire. To me the tracking and repeatability is most important, followed by a forgiving eye box at high magnification, then optical quality / performance. I rather have a scope that is mechanically sound with a very forgiving eye box than really good glass or no tunneling at lower magnification.

Attempted to buy a Bergara premiere bolt today. I had some gut feelings after seeing they’ve been inactive for about two years but decided to purchase anyway. Seller asked that I pay f&f. I paid goods and services and paid extra for the fees and expedited shipping. After they received payment, they seemed upset that I paid g&s and have since stopped replying to messages and did not ship today as agreed upon.

Just seeing if anyone knows this user or has had transactions or if I’m being over paranoid.

Just looking for persons personal experience with them before I order. Preferably if you can comment on how they compared to other match quality projectiles you have used of a similar grain weight.

Forestry industry is volatile as ever and am looking to start my own business buying/selling timber. Been through layoffs with westvaco, plumb creek, AWP and others as they go under and getting tired of it.

Need some start up cash, have a farm with heavy amounts of White Oak thinking of coppice cutting with reserves from 110 ba per acre (mixed White, Chestnut oak)- to 20 BA per acre, then selling the farm or prescribed burning it within 3 years to kill a lot of the non-oaks then placing it into a carbon sequestration easement lasting about 80 years ( I can thin about 20 BA per acre as needed). Or selling some guns (will be listed on gun broker).

Purchasing timber on public land will be not be possible for at least 2-3 years depending on politics. So I would need cash upfront and have to deal with private landowners. A few logging outfits I have worked with in the past would be willing to wheel and deal with me. Would also be working on being a consultant on the side.

I can't remember how many times I've seen myself or others post a question to a forum (here and elsewhere) and the responses generally tend to be some form of "you didn't satisfy my completely subjective and arbitrary requirements for figuring this out on your own so instead of being helpful I'm going to be a condescending dickface to a stranger on the internet to help ease my own insecurities and try to look cool", that then get blindly upvoted by fellow insecure asshats.

Does this happen in every hobby? Are people really that arrogant and dependent on others' approval or is shooting really just 85% assholes with a few decent folks sprinkled in? I hope this isn't just another once enjoyable thing that has been ruined by the anonymity of the internet and hairy knuckled cavemen typing away in their mom's basement.
