ZCO MPCT2 mount question

I am looking to purchase a ZT527/MPCT2 and have a question about what mount to go with and whether to use locking or non locking turrets. I used rings before, but the Spuhr line unimounts look good. Scope will be mounted to a picatinney rail with 20moa built in.
Feel free to make any arguments and suggestions as to my questions. Not real sure on how the turrets work with the locking arrangement.

SOLD Sold

I have a premier LT 3-15 gen2xr reticle scope for sale. It has a few cosmetic issues. There is slight debris in the lens. Few specs here and there. The tube has a few ring "dents" from either over torque or thin tube. Slightly on where the edge of the ring cap is.. This was a known issue on some of the LT scopes. I torqued it in at 15 inch pounds on NF UL rings without issue. I put about 25 rounds on it just today on a 6.5, for the first time and it tracked to 300 and 500m and back to zero. I know, impressive right!? Well I didn't shoot farther with it so it's what ya get. I had no issue zeroing the scope either.. The scope obviously isn't able to be warranty through Premier because they no longer exist, and I have no clue if it will qualify for a TT discount. So... I bought it this way at a big discount and it's going for the same big discount. We'll a little less because I used it some. I just forgot how much I dont like the Gen2xr reticle.

So here ya go. $1,050 shipped. Firm. $150 less then what I just paid. Pics coming shortly. I will 100 pics if the buyer wants them, but it's sold "as is". In the box with caps.

Lesbian with an AR pistol

https://www.local10.com/news/local/...ght-with-woman-who-was-selling-micro-bullies/

3 black males hold a couple lesbians at gunpoint and steal two puppies. One of the lesbians followed them outside and fired wildly. After watching the video, what's most surprising is that police aren't filing any charges...probably got off easy because of the whole lesbian thing.

"Scratch and Dent" Hornady Bullets?

Found a source for these.
I've never purchased "seconds" of bullets, but getting a bit desperate these days to put something down the tubes.
Been looking for 300 grain A-Tips for months, and these are all I can find.
Does anyone know, what is the criteria under which Hornady releases these- is it strictly cosmetic defects, as in absolutely no effect on bullet flight- or could there be defects in concentricity or actual "dents" that could affect accuracy?

I could give a fuck if there's a smudge somewhere, but if they don't fly absolutely true they're useless...

Montana ATV laws

I'm headed to Montana for a hunting trip next week and was thinking of bringing an ATV along. We will have only one truck, and I know from past experience in Wyoming that some of the less-improved public roads can get pretty treacherous if a little moisture falls. Prairie gumbo. So my thought was to have the ATV on hand to help us get to the intended hunting grounds in those situations without risking a stuck pickup.

I'm confused about the ATV rules that I've found. I've found that I can drive the ATV on roads in BLM land. But does my ATV need a mirror and horn to run on public gravel roads outside of BLM? Or are the "street legal" requirements only for those who wish to run their OHV's on pavment? What about roads on state land, is the ATV(or the truck for that matter) allowed on those?

Am I missing anything about what the rules for ATVs are in Montana? I want to follow the rules, but so far am a little confused.

For sale is a Radian 6mm ARC. Rifle has never been fired but if needed I can do the Proof recommended break-in process. Muzzle device (warcomp) and mag not included. Build components listed below. Weight is 7.50 lbs even. The reason I'm selling is I built a 12.5 Radian 6mm ARC (pictured below) that I am using as my "kids" hunting pistol. This 18" just ended up being a little longer in both total length and LOP for my daughter. PM with questions. For sale only no trades. Price is $3,000 Shipped to your FFL.

Federal brass is shitty, object or concur?

In the last few months I have loaded for two buddies guns. One 308 and one '06, both federal brass. Both once fired factory brass when I loaded them the first time, and they sized fine. Second time (so 3x) around first one sized kinda hard., Not so bad that I stooped, but ran it through. You guessed it, ripped rim, stuck case. The '06 I tried this morning 2 in a row stuck. Ready to chuck the rest. Anyone else have this experience? I have Lapua, Rem and Win brass in 308 and 06 that have 8-10 loadings on them nary an issue.

Scope For a Hunting Application

Need some opinions on a scope for a 300 WSM hunting rifle. Looking for something compact but not necessarily an ultra-short design and likely in the 3-18 range or something in between and a 50mm objective. What is important is this order is brightness, clarity, field of view and eye box. Would also like to keep weight around 30 ounces give or take a few so anything close to 40 ounces does not apply. Price range is somewhere in between $2-3k but not restricted to that, however I have no desire to spend much north of $3k on a scope for hunting.

Own or have owned ZCO, NF, Kahles, and S&B 5-25 range of scopes and definitely not looking for that class of size and power range as this will probably be limited to 500-600 yards.

New Scope purchase. Help, which one?

Hello and good morning everyone. I’m getting ready to purchase a new scope. I would like to know which one you guys would buy. I’m willing to spend 4K, and I will be using the scope for PRS. Here is my list, not in specific order;

1. Zero Comp ZCO 5x27
2. Nightforce ATACR 7x35
3. Vortex Razor HD
4. Leupold Mark 5HD
5. Schmidt & Bender PM II/LP
6. Kahles K524i DLR
I’m just trying to get a quick poll together before I make my final decision.

The erosion continues.

I reckon they'll want to rename Washington DC 'Floydville' before long.

Tangent Theta Glass

The Tangent Theta Model TT315H Long Range Hunter has me obsessing although it’s 10oz heavier than where I started but 6oz lighter than my kahles K525I I have to date. I’m scouring the interweb and every forum trying to find input if this truly is a good hunter optic to match with my 6.5prc.
I haven’t been able to look through a TT to compare glass or light transmission etc to a high end swaro/kahles but is TT superior or just on the same level as the other tier 1 glass?
