SOLD Lightly Used HALO-LR and IRay MH25 w/ PVS-14 Eyepiece

Howdy,

I will post pictures later tonight.
Both are in excellent condition and have almost no wear. The Halo-LR was used twice, once to dial in, and once on a hog hunt on my AR-15 chambered in 6mm ARC. The MH25 was helmet mounted on a KVC Bridge with a PVS-14 (bridge has been sold), and was almost never handled therefore the excellent condition.

N-Vision Halo-LR that I dialed in and used once, with the complete case, kit, accessories, and 8 extra batteries.
Asking price: $5500

IRay MH25 Monocular with complete case and accessories, UNV PVS-14 Eyepiece installed (includes original eyepiece), upgraded dovetail shoe for mounting with dual bridge.
Asking price: $4300

I am open to offers and trades. If you want full insured shipping than add $75.

Put more money into an LMT MWS or buy a KAC SR-25?

I know this general topic has been covered before, and there may not be a "wrong" answer, but it is camping out in my head rent free and I want some guidance.

I have a LMT L129A1. It is a fine rifle, but beefy and I have always wanted a KAC SR-25 for idiosyncratic reasons. In terms of use case it will primarily be within 500 yards with a preference to the gun being lighter. I had also thought to get a 6.5 CM barrel/upper eventually. I went with the LMT because of the barrel change but I'm not enthralled with the system and the weight. I could buy an MLOK upper and light weight 308 barrel, but the barrels are not reliably available. That would also be an extra ~1500-1800 though I could sell the original upper and barrel to offset some of the cost.

In the alternative I could sell the LMT and buy a KAC SR-25 ACC or APC and sell a kidney to get a 6.5 CM upper eventually.

What should I do?

Illinois Senators response to GOA email

Dick's email response from the GOA (Gun Owners of America) email I sent.

"Thank you for contacting me regarding President Biden's nomination of David Chipman to serve as the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). I appreciate hearing from you.

Mr. Chipman currently serves as the senior policy advisor at Giffords, an organization led by former Representative Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona whose mission is to end gun violence in America. If confirmed, Mr. Chipman would be the first Senate-confirmed ATF Director since 2015. Mr. Chipman spent 25 years in law enforcement, the vast majority with ATF. As an ATF special agent, he witnessed firsthand the real danger that gun crime and illicit gun trafficking pose to communities and the dangers, particularly, people in law enforcement face because of this.

With the nomination of Mr. Chipman, the Administration has made it clear that it is focused on efforts to address the gun violence epidemic and protect public safety. On June 24, 2021, the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced the nomination out of committee with a vote of 11-11. I voted in favor of his nomination because he is a responsible gun owner who has advocated for commonsense, constitutional gun safety measures. Mr. Chipman is uniquely qualified to restore both credibility and accountability.

The nomination of people to serve in an administration is often one of the most important decisions made by a president. These officials work to implement the President's policies in their roles as the heads of their representative agencies. They can set the tone and direction for the federal government's interaction with people in far-reaching ways.

Thank you again for contacting me. Please feel free to keep in touch."

Sincerely,
Richard J. Durbin
United States Senator

I vote against this tool every chance I get.

SOLD Impact 737, 6.5x47 barreled action or whole rifle by Gradous

Exodus Rifle put this together.

Components list: Impact 737 action, Bartlein 26" 1:8 barrel contour is between M24 and Heavy Palma, 5/8x24 thread, Heathens brake, TT Diamond trigger. Manners T4A Team heavy fill, Midnight camo, bedded with Devcon, has Ordnance NV bridge etc.

I added the full length Arca rail.

Has less than 100 rounds down the pipe, same mileage for the action, one hole shooter as you'd expect. Rifle is like new except I filed the edge off on the left side of NV rail to act as thumb rest.
