Optics WTS Vortex Razor HD Gen III 1-10x with Badger Condition One Mount

Hello,

I have a Vortex Razor 1-10x that needs rehomed. There is some surface wear from getting into and out of the safe, but other than that, this thing is mint. It was mounted on a AR-10, and shamefully has less than 100 rounds, if that. Optically and mechanically perfect.

Price to sell, will ship insured and cover PayPal fees.

2,100 OBO

Secret Service Eyes New 6.5mm Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle (RFI)

I doubt anyone getting hit by a 6.5creed or. 308 in COM or the head is going to notice the difference. It's going to be an instantly incapacitating kill shot either way.
Shooters on these guns aren't typically tasked with direct action HR.

They are going for a center mass anchoring as fast as possible.

Perhaps a head shot could be had if that's all that is exposed to a direct flight path but it wouldn't be something they train for like other US LE.

Eurooptic.com?

My order history worked fine (well you only get 2 years anyway and I don't buy much from them). I'm not a fan of the website, huge pictures, no option to put things in the cart from the index pages, no easy way to find demo/used stuff, but my failing eyes do appreciate the fact even I can read the page without reading glasses! I don't think it's that big of a deal, they can tweak it. That said I will never understand why companies pay tons of $ to replace perfectly good websites.

Do not cave to the new fear/bully trend that stores are doing where they try and manipulate you into paying them extra for insurance saying that if you don't you agree to not hold them liable for lost/stolen/damaged merchandise if you don't want to. The shipper is responsible for ensuring your purchased goods arrives safely and in the expected condition even if you don't pay insurance. This has come up a lot lately in various places and I've never heard a case where a credit card company did not side with the buyer on a charge back if something happens to your package before it arrives to you if you don't pay extra for insurance. Stores don't care because if even 50% of the people pay it, it's a ton of extra profit for them and a few charge backs are worth it. I don't even mind paying extra for some insurance on expensive/delicate stuff, but don't threaten me into doing it. Heck if you like the store and just want to give them a "tip" feel free, but understand that's all it is. Doesn't matter what they put on the checkout page that you have to click to agree to, or if you pay for insurance, the seller is responsible for your package getting to you safely, period.

It's basically the new tipping scam where regardless of how much or little service you get they put it in your face to tip them on the card swipe machine, except instead they put a threat on the bill that if you don't tip them and find rat shit in your food, it's your fault for not tipping them.

The other new trend I dislike (and Euro just sent me one) is stores that use abandoned cart emails, spamming you with emails after you poke around their website but don't buy anything. "Your cart is calling". All it does it make me want to is unsubscribe and ban their email address.

As always though vote with your $, if you don't like a stores practices, shop elsewhere.

If you think that shipping is bad, the other day I saw a store that was wanted $52 to ship two bricks of 22LR, and that was before the insurance!
Agree. I emptied my cart and shopped elsewhere.

Primary Arms Optics - Discovery 2025: PLx Compact Long Range Scopes Unveiled

Looks like they have lost there fn minds. $2k plus !!!@@ really! If I drop that kind of coin on an optic it will have something else on the side of it. They are not the only ones. Even leapers got one $1k plus now. In the market for a 3-18 or 4-20 shopping and comparing. Looking for budgetishhh optic for an ar spr ish. For that kind of price it had beter have some damned good glass. IMHO which don't mean a damn thing. Just not getting my $$$$.
The Leapers Integrix 3-18x44 is actually quite impressive. I have been looking at an early production model for a few weeks now. The reticle is usable, but could benefit from a little work, but optically and mechanically, it is quite good.

As far as PA's PLxC goes, I have not yet tested one, but I was quite impressed with it at SHOT. It definitely has a better eyepiece than the NX8 and I would not be surprised if it ends being a better scope. Once a production model gets here, I'll be able to have some more certainty.

My Distressed Terminus Zeus Build is a GO !

Getting ready to start the 6 ARC build so I can play with the different bullet weights and speeds, I am gonna pair this build with a gas gun so I can look at the progression from gasser to bolt in the 6 arc space.

My Zeus build is on a Zermatt Matterhorn stock which is just crazy nice. View attachment 8655918
The barrels are being spun up by Bugholes as we speak for some Terminus PreFit Action

I have a 20" and 24" barrel coming so can I can experiment with the shorter barrels in the 6 arc space as they intended but also a longer barrel to get the speed, in the end it may require a 26" to get it right for comps, but I think with the factory bullets we have a potential to bridge the gap in cost to play, correctly.

With Hornady having a :

105gr at 2750, we know this is probably too slow, it repeats the Valkyrie numbers but with a 6mm so...

Then they have the 103 ELDX which is 2800, might be the right first try, the speed is correct.

Finally for factory loads i am lookin at, the 80gr Varmint load 3000fps, this might be the ticket considering the results we are seeing with the 100gr 65CM. The 100gr 65CM is bad on paper, great on steel, so at 3k, the 80gr load might be the ticket

Anyway, this is my start, more to come
Don't forget the 106gr Hornady TAP!

Selling a 700 s/a inlet XLR Envy Pro with C6 stock and long LOP spacer. I have the full PRS Pro Comp weight kit, which includes the three internal weights, four C6 weights, six forend external weights, the short extended Arca weight, and the long NV bridge.

Very good condition. If not in the safe, it’s been to a static range 3-4 times. No damage or blemishes I’ve seen other than some light markings on the Arca rail. The external forend weights have been spray painted.

And so it begins...

Nothing wrong with a 6.5 Creedmoor in matches. You don’t load so get something that you will be able to get ammo for easily. With a good brake the recoil is not bad.

You starting out will not know the difference between the 6.5 and a 6mm. You have a lot to learn. You are worried about barrel life so get the 6.5 and go shoot. A 26-28” barrel in a heavier profile like Proof Comp Contour will do the job. @bohem Josh at PVA can easily get one spun up for you.

Tariff effects on imported optics

I'll be the first to admit I'm not an economist or an expert on tariffs. Just a regular person doing my best to try to understand what's happening and what the impact will be on the U.S.

But I don't think companies are just going to absorb the cost.

To use a real world example that's going to impact people on this forum. I probably shoot a couple of hundred rounds a week - mostly 5.56. This necessitates that I occasionally re-supply my stock of ammo. One of my favorite vendors is SGAmmo. Great selection, fair prices, fast shipping. The owner has recently sent out an email to his customers explaining that he operates on essentially a 5% profit margin and that much of the ammo he sells is imported from overseas. Tariffs are going to substantially impact the cost and availability of a lot of the ammo he sells and if the tariffs remain in effect for any appreciable length of time he is going to have to increase his prices. I take him at his word. In the past he has always had fair prices and never really tried to gouge his customers.

Just one real world example.

So while there are a number of luxury brands that have enormous profit margins (to use an example from my earlier post, luxury Swiss watches) I think most companies have much smaller profit margins and it is going to be the American consumer who foots 90+% of the cost of these tariffs. And that's only the impact tariffs have on us as consumers of foreign goods. There is also the other side of the equation, those of us who work in industries that export goods to other countries - farmers, liquor distilleries, etc.

Dillon Super 1050/RL1050/RL1100 Loading

Does anyone know if you can replace the dillon powder measure with one from another manufacturer or if there's a way to upgrade it?

I've dropped in the baffle, polished the bowl and slide, and a few other tweaks, but there's still powder sticking in the gap between the cast housing and the press fit powder drop tube. I've tried to fix that before as well and wound up ruining the housing.

Get these and dont look back. I have put them on all my Dillon measures.
