Horse Power, Track Shit, Torque, Cubic Inches, Liters, Run What Ya Brung, Auto or Cycle

Ran this weekend at a "new" track here in Dallas, G2 Motorsports Park. Been open for 2 years roughly, but there are very few "public" track days because the owner is, uh, well known LOL... Track is a great small car track outside of the back straight. The "fast" cars this weekend were running high teens.

Got down to a 2:32 which is pretty damn quick for 132 whp Miata. I was on a 2:31 lap, but got held up by traffic. My Garmin shows a 2:30 optimum and it showed that a few different sessions, I just cant put it together. I have about 4 2:32 laps so I didnt just have a single fluke lap. Its pushing the car pretty good at that pace. Spec Miata guy who I got some coaching from, and also drove the car, thinks the car has a :29 lap in it, but beyond that he wasnt sure since im basically out of HP at that point.

Im also at the point that I could take advantage of ABS. I have a BMW MK60E5 setup to go in the car when I do the LS swap. Im locking single tires occasionally. The guy I talk to quite a bit on building my car says thats the sign you are at the limit of the braking system. He says "oh if you were locking up both fronts or all 4, then you are just over braking, but when you have single tire lock up, yea its time for ABS that can trim each individual wheel".

I hate making excuses for myself but here goes, I had been pretty damn sick for a week and had some extra sand in my puss. I generally stay away from the black white jokes in public but I should have kept my yap shit.
The yellow robot follow up is funny as hell

Bullet jump on 5.56x45 when slammed into battery

What spring is in the AR that you are using to chamber these rounds that are "jumping" setting depth?

Are you manually dropping the bolt, or firing allowing the gun to cycle, or both?

.003-.004 neck tension should be good to go but I have seen some require more for various reasons.

Make sure you are not running a bushing and then draggin the expander ball back through the neck.

Rifle Scopes High scope mount needed.

Anyone know of a good scope mount that is around 1.8” height with zero MOA slope? My Accuracy International AX50 has a really high cheek riser and using a 1.5” high mount is too low for proper eye placement.

I really like the Spuhr SP-4024 mount but nobody has the older version with both rings having 6 screws, I really don’t like the SP-4024C version.

Any suggestions on a High Mount that has 6 screws per ring with zero MOA slope and atleast 1.7” high? It’s got to be able to take the blast from a 50 BMG.

Thanks for you input.

Knights Armament SR25 6.5 Creedmoor

I have 5 sr25s. They are by far my favorite rifles to shoot and own. My pc which is shot regularly is a damn tack driver and probably my favorite rifle I own.
None of these groups are cherry picked

Kac is the pinnacle of large frame gassers. They did the homework that everyone else just copied.

If we were living under a truly "fascist" system that the left LOVES to cry about whenever referring to Patriots, all of those pro-invasion judges and lawyers would have been silenced one after another in a series of uncanny accidents, falls from buildings, shenanigans involving radioactive materials, and automotive mishaps, just like how critics of the Russian Kremlin always have ended up since 1917... Maybe we are not "fascist" enough and need to make the left have a "self fulfilling prophecy" moment.
