Feedback Avoid Fraud With This Feature

How do I? I looked for a way to do it.
Maybe instead of the unhelpful “nope” you could have advised how to do it since you have more experience than me.

There is a report button at the bottom of the PM.

And it’s not unhelpful but answering the question. People come and complain in this thread and never report the person they are complaining about and let them keep at it with some other member and try and scam them. We can’t do anything if we don’t know.

223/for distance

Are most guys just loading less powder in the 6CM now or are they using slower powders (H4350, H1000 etc)?
I like the idea of a slow 6mm/22cal but don't want to deal with feeding issues, I know the 22/6GT pretty much gives no issues at all, but the Creedmoor case (probably not for 22cal) is still the safest option.

I'm still running a 6.5CM but have thought about changing for a while.
Although the main issue is I actually shoot 22lr and the centrefires stay in the safe....

H4350 is the powder to get the higher velocities. It will work with less to get lower velocities but I found N160 pushes the 110 ATips at 2900 nicely. I tried to download H4350 but wasn’t great for accuracy.

Nothing wrong with the 6.5 Creed. I still shoot mine too and been shooting the 153s at 2680fps and love the feel and performance.

6mm Creedmoor OAL Confusion

Hornady black was also designed with gas guns in mind they shorten it up for that, I agree with the guy above ignore oal it matters not outside of making ammo short enough to go in a msg
Well I got my new PVA 6mm Creed barrel installed and the max oal I can get with the Hornady 105GN BTHP is 2,770 from checking the chamber with the gauge. So the factory Hornady Black loaded at 2.695 makes perfect sense. Funny though. The 105gn Barnes Match Burners have a max oal of 2.855 in my chamber. That's quite a difference in max oal's I can use with these two bullets.

223/for distance

Back around 12 years ago and prior everyone was wanting to be at 3150 and where the 6 Creed got its barrel burner rep. .243 was doing the same before the 6 Creed. Now everyone is running 2750-2900 range so those barrels will last a lot longer. It can do it but not needed.
I remember getting my 6creed spun up and being like I’m gonna pushing 105’s at Mach Jesus, then after a season of abusing it I realized that I didn’t need to push them so hard. Now I’m happy running stuff in the 2800-2900 range, saves me powder and doesn’t torch my barrel but I’ll admit pushing 75 ELD-M’s at 2900-2950 might be a little spicy but nothing wild.

Which thing made the biggest difference?

Spending a few hours with a professional shooting coach, total of three visits. My reloads were not the limiting factor.

GAP rifle, Lapua brass, 175 SMK, FGMM primers, RL15, RCBS charge master scale, coax press, Redding competition dies. I used gauges and precision measuring tools to measure everything, set the dies, and check every loaded round.

I am certain there are better shooters and reloaders who could take it to the next level.

Accuracy International Picture Thread

Well shit!

Imagine how good mine would shoot if I used stable bullets!!!
I think it goes without saying if it shoots well who cares what the computer says.
I'm no expert but I believe you are probably just giving up some BC, the bullets are stable enough for accuracy.

I hope my LW 1:12 shoots as well as yours, I plan to run 168gr ELD-Ms rather than the 178s, more stable, a bit faster and similar ballistics (if I get a bit more speed). I'll be shooting 168gr SMKs to start with (factory ammo). I have a few rounds of Hornady match 168gr ELD-M to test out also.

223 vs 22 arc 16” for ranch rifle

I checked the weight on the gen 2 ruger ranch. 6lb 11.2oz.

I pulled a s&w ar15 out of the safe that I have a 16" DD barrel on, took the acog off, and it is 6lb 11.0 oz

lol.

May just throw a dang 1-8 NX8 on this and roll with it. My only beef with the AR is im 90% going to lose brass shooting it out in a hayfield somewhere.. Thats the only thing that bugs me with rolling around with a semi auto.

I do have some 53Vmax to load and 62 eld vt
