.308 Overall Length Varation with 175gr SMK

No idea what the OAL is from base to tip. Never measured it and not by my reloading room currently to do so. It’s hard to go by OAL and I wouldn’t unless I’m trying to make mag length. Everything I load I measure distance to lands and measure off the ogive. Start .010-.030 off depending on bullet preference

Otherwise it can be hard to measure OAL. A tip like smk vs a polymer plastic tip can vary a bit when measuring off the tips in comparison
Likewise, I don't really pay any attention to COAL, except when mag length is an issue, with my reloading. . . .that I do record my COAL's just in case anyone asks about my cartridge configuration. But I found it was useless to know someone's CBTO or distance to lands since there's can be such a huge difference in comparator measurements. Like there's a .063" difference in BTO measurement between my Hornady comparator and my Sinclair comparator. That's a LOT bigger variance than you'll find in those SMK polymer tips. Even within the same brand of comparator, there'll often be a significant difference.

Then there's that difference in chamber sizes., where .020 off the lands could mean the COAL is at 2.800" in your chamber , but 2.940" in my chamber.

This is why I like to ask about COAL.. . . to get a decent idea how one's cartridge is actually configured. :)

Vudoo Left Hand 360 availability UPDATE

Christmas Vacation reference gets a alike from me everyday that ends in Y.

Onto the topic at (left)hand, I was told the same on Reddit in the nrl22 subreddit but wasn’t sure where it came from. On the surface it’s sounds like good news but the more I think about it seems more confusing than helpful. I’m really wondering if I should just go with RimX or Begara B-14 and move on.

Zelensky showing no respect in Oval Office

Update. It appears Zalinskys an actor hired by a Ukrainian oligarch mobster to play a freedom fighter standing up against Russia. He's nothing but a puppet for the globalists in a money laundering racket to fleece and 'bust out' America, a tactic used by the mob to put people in a casino to skim and steal from it until it's busted and then take it over.

Speaking of globalist puppets, are they going to trace the laundered U.S. taxpayers money back to the source of the scheme, the Biden Crime Family?
Probably but they can’t prosecute them because of the pardons.

Scope advice for NRL22 competition rifle

I don't shoot NRL22 matches, so need some advice for a friend who is building a rifle for his son. He has a Vudoo barreled action, Triggertech Diamond trigger, believe it is mounted in an American Rifle Company Xylo chassis, -- so a nice rig. Plan is for the boy, now 14, to grow into it, and start by getting involved in NRL22 matches.

So which scope to mount? Price not particularly a concern, but relevance to NRL22 stages for sure is. I am guessing that targets from 25 yards out to 250 yards is the sweet spot, but would appreciate any recommendations you all may have that take advantage of your direct experience in these match formats.

Thanks in advance.

We need to tell ALL of these entitled muppets to TAKE CARE OF THEIR OWN PROBLEMS. Nobody owes them SHIT. Grow a pair, work out those arms, and get to scrapping with your bullies 1960s New York West Side style.

ETA: Leaving NATO and the UN entirely is a sensible solution too. The very reason why America was founded was to be an armed and self sufficient oasis from everybody else and their medieval issues that never got resolved since the 1200s. We trade and sell to those who abide by international trade agreements, that's the extent of it. No cupping balls or fighting others' battles for them.
