What is ATF wait time for a suppressor?

I’m coming up on 9 months (submitted in June) on a “traditional” trust with just myself as Trustee (for now…)

I’ve called, emailed, and have no idea why they haven't been approved, when many others with a traditional trust are taking much less time…
I was about the same on mine. I called he looked at it, and said wow dont know why they haven't looked at it. Told me still processing. Got off the phone, received and email 1 min later. It was approved! Don't know what is going on there.

Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+

I’ve used mine for nearly 50 days of hunting last fall and PRS / NRL. Absolutely excellent in all ways. Highly recommended.

My only gripe is I wish the return with the AB solution was a bit faster. When you're on the clock it seems like it takes forever, in reality it’s not that bad but it would be nice to have it a little faster.

The glass is second to none and a pleasure to use for days on end. The LRF works well in real world conditions where light fog, precipitation and air particulate are a real thing. I’ve had better returns in ranges with these in poor conditions than by partners who run Kilos and El Ranges. Definitely a pricy tool but worth it if you spend a lot of time on glass and need a reliable LRF / ballistic tool.

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

Imagine if you will, a person trying to break out of the circle of total poverty, and looking for a starting point. You know, the person without a pot to piss in, and the only helping hands are attached to his/her own arms. The first house on the left might look like a life goal at one point in time. Now maybe you can help me to understand why you think the pic fits into "Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes".
That story is cool and all, but you left out a couple details in you rages to middle class story: loans and the HOA.

Point of diminishing returns for a 2-12 ish scope

Bought it, have shot it a few times, love it thus far. Have two identical rifles, one with this and the other with an ATACR 4-16 and the ATACR is as much better as it is heavier. The Trijicon is everything a boy needs to whack pigs out to 400+.

Night Vision The Official: Steiner C35 Thermal Clip-on Review and User Thread!

I'm intrigued on one hand, and concerned due to the low hanging side 18650's it wouldn't work with the 45 degree throw over a typical rail on a 50mm objective.

With that said, I would LOVE to be wrong, that would be a real game changer for me. I'm not mad at my NOX at all, but if I could leave my 20" on the tripod and put a totally repeatable thermal optic on, I think I would usually default to that option.

Primer seating depth?

Yeah I'm aware there are tools now that may account for rim thickness. When I went down the rabbit hole there was not and I'm still happy with my priming process and see no reason to change at this time.
I'd say when one is happy with their process . . . IMHO, that's all that really counts. :giggle:

Primer seating depth?

Variance in cup height, anvil protrusion & rim thickness led me to seating the cup to the bottom of the pocket then applying a specific crush. This is with a uniformed pocket.
Even if you're pockets are within a thou and you measure every primer and get it installed exactly as the math would indicate you still get a variance from rim thickness.

I use a Primal Rights seater on an F Class products base with indicator to measure the crush.
From there I'll sort the primed cases for below flush of the case head. I know it sounds like a lot but I'm still only handling the case one time in the priming operation.

The ladder test pic was at 600 yards in 2022 after winning a 16 target benchrest agg match. 8 targets at 600 and 8 targets at 1000 over 3 days setting a new 16 target group agg record that's still standing.
I shot the match with .004" crush the test after showed .002" & .003" to be better.

6 BRA HH barrel on a Kelbly F Panda action
Regarding "variance from rim thickness", while that's true for almost all primer seating tools, it's not so for the Lee ACP (which I have and use) and Sinclair has one that won't index off the rim thickness. :giggle:
