Do I need a small base die to save my brass? 6.5CM

The rings on the brass above the case head (just above the rim and the ones higher up) lead me to believe there is something going on with the chamber. While it sounds like you are potentially having issues reusing the old brass but I would suggest buying bow of factory ammunition (quality) and see if you have issues with it on first firing and then reloaded.

This man has had cattle for years. He definitely knows the lingo.

He’s The Cattle Whisperer.

I mean, I have days like this every year. However, angling a few t-posts between the panel and outside frame might have helped guide this young, stupid, motherf#@%ing, worthless piece of s#!t steer with 5 f#@%ing brain cells out a lot easier than chasing it around in circles.

One must be smarter than the cattle. However after helping others manage their herds... one is often - not - smarter than the cattle.

Take the insurance check and replace that bed with a flatbed or utility bed
I agree (all my pickups have/have had flatbeds) but be prepared to add some coin to the ins check.
A like new take off box can be found for $500 to $1000 if you shop around
The last flatbed I put on was North of $7K, I know you can buy them cheaper, I just like a nice looking one on my good pickup

Now if you want a bale bed.......tell mother she's gonna need to get another job LOL

Your PVA prefit experience

Well I've already addressed every other variable other than the scope rings at this point. Though the rings I'm using are ARC M-Brace rings so I'm not horribly worried about them. I'm just about to start shooting and preparing for another destination hunting trip this November and as a result I'm thinking of anything I didn't address yet in case it ends up happening again, which I'm sure is very unlikely. If it does, I'll torque the barrel to 100 ft/lbs and change the rings out.

Do you zero at the location before the hunt at the location? Going to a different location of temp, elevation etc would be my main concern about zero change from my home range to the hunt location.
