Well said, of course you misspelled easy.Would have to have a Asian in the contest, if you want to get past the eazy words.
My custom 24” barrel is a lot tighter vertically that my custom 20” was with the same ammo, but not really apples to apples; different chamber and different twist. My 16" T1x was never any good at distance, some ammo was ok but it was very picky on ammo (at distance).
Inside if 150m it wasn't too bad but 200m+ was never much fun.
The vertical matches the ES of the ammo, so it could just be the ammo sucks but also could be the barrel producer produces higher ES.
I have a lot of Velocity data from my 25.5" barreled T1x, and will eventually try some of that ammo in this rifle.
One of the main reasons for going so long on my custom barrel was the theory behind longer barrels having smaller ES.
I guess there are too many variables at play with just two data point but it'll be interesting to see none the less.
Modularity is not the issue. The Ultra 50 is modular. Shipping a suppressor with multiple end caps makes it so all parts are not configured and used when the suppressor is fully assembled. It's the extra parts that is the legal issue.Yes, there is a strange inconsistency in their logic, but the man himself has stated you’re not gonna buy end caps from them
It's really hard to tell in those pictures as they kinda look a little light, but not enough where I wouldn't think it'd keep them from igniting. These were two of the failure to fire rounds, primer strikes look good. I sent the picture to Tate/Impact as well and he agreed.
No, I don’t want to start modifying it to fix something that shouldn’t even be a problem. They’re kind of a specialty bolt anyway because they are meant to be captured by the chassis so they only have a section of threads at the end that engages the receiver.Maybe I'm understanding the original post wrong, but did you try shorter bolts? It almost seems like they're like 3-4mm too long?
I recently got a Manners PRS stock, and they shipped me the action screws for the mini chassis. Both of them were the right thread, but the head was a tiny bit too big, it wouldn't fit without turning them down, which I'm no machinist whatsoever. I called them, they resent me bolts, and they were the same way lol....So i went and got the right ones at a local store. I also received a new Impact 737 action in February with no feed ramps machined at all in it. I figured i was the unlucky duck with new rifle issues.
