Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

We called it "kill the man" and would use some sort of area as the end zone. If you made it to the end zone, you could take a 30 second break, turn around and did your best to make to the other end. This would go on for hours until enough kids finally showed up/joined in so we could then make up teams and play a proper game of football. The next day might be a game of "strikeout" complete with shadow man (runners) on base(s). Another was $5.00. Group of us waiting for another to launch the bomb pass towards all of us and as he did so, call out a dollar amount, whoever caught it earned that amount and then threw the ball into the group, repeat until somebody got a total of 5 bucks. I can't believe I remembered those games......:ROFLMAO::giggle:

Wyoming roadtrip

The guides in the greater YS area all carry SA 10mm pistols. 😉

OR,
At least that's what you tell your wife.
Let her know you don't own one and it would be in your best interest of safety to acquire one.
You'll also need a few hundred rounds (500) to ensure it's properly broken in.
Then fire 100 rounds of your carry ammo.
And a proper holster.
And maybe a nice reflex sight to go on top.

I didn't have to do any of that. Rebecca just asked if I owned one. I told her no and wanted to know why.
She said she had done some research and that's what was recommended.
I told her I had suitable single action pistols with more power and energy.

She asked if I wanted a new gun or not...

It wasn't worth arguing about. 😄
Lucky $#! When I tried to go down that road Memsahib reminded me that I have 3 44 Mag wheel guns and 3 45 ACP Pistols and several hundred rounds of Bowling Pin loads (250g Hard Cast RNFP +P). So my lobbying for the M&P 10 or a 1911-10mm got shot down with prejudice. 🥺😢

Primer seating depth?

Trying to get more into developing more accurate loads. Trying to wrap my head around the hole primer seating depth thing but, kind of lost here. Normally just seat the primers with a hand tool or on my single stage lnl. Seat until they bottom out and move on. But, now I’m reading all this on primer depth uniformity and not sure what the best way to go about seating the primers. In my head, It seems if I seat the primers to an exact same depth beyond flush, than some might bottom out less than others. Is this actually better than running them in until they bottom out? Maybe I’m missing something in the process.

Trump is back…the “Now What” thread

I think it goes much deeper than that. It sets a precedent. If we get a future president that is Uber liberal they will use the Trump administration to justify ignoring the courts and pushing through what their handlers want. This goes way beyond the right now pablum that is being spewed in this post. It truly is dangerous. Trump may very well be unwittingly bolstering the authoritarianism of the future, albeit with good intentions. This is what the entire country is up against and doesn’t even know it. It goes well beyond Obama’s tactic of “legal license” to ignore the implementation of laws already on the books.

It truly is a catch-22. Do you do what is good for the country and give the liberals a major precedent or do you go with the flow and have both the country and what the electorate wants undermined for the sake of the rule of law? It doesn’t matter that these judges are operating outside of the constitution because most people have no idea what it says, they only want what is best for them. That is the reality.
