Recently purchased a PWS 6 arc upper. New to the gas gun reloading and want to work my brass as little as possible. I figured a 5/1000” bump just to make sure everything cycles in the gun. Does this sound about right??

Does the Hogue stock that was OEM in the Sendero series of the mid 90's have a mini chassis molded into the stock?

Got these the other day in a shipment of a couple cases order. Hornady 140gr 6.5 ELD that a site had on sale for $30 a box delivered.

One of the cases was fine, so I doubt it happened in transit to me, and they were still in the larger factory packing so the store probably didn't even know, but I don't think I've seen a box of ammo in factory packing that was clearly dropped so hard that the tips punctured not only pictured the ammo boxes but also lightly dented the tips. Even more weird is the outer factory case box didn't have punctures in it, so I'm wondering if this happened to them before they even got shipped from the factory. Though I make that assumption because it seems unlikely unless they tips hit something hard they'd dent, granted the tip damage is very minimal, but you can definitely feel a ridge on them that they've been flattened.

Knowing me they'll probably shoot better than the rest.

I wonder if someone may have a picture of the escutcheon that the front sling swivel on a M40 screws into? Preferably separated from the stock, I know I'm asking for unobtainium but it's worth a shot. I might know what Remington used but need to see a real one from an M40 to confirm or disprove my idea.

Going to see my daughter week of the 16th in November. She's stationed out there and we plan to sniff around the Boulder area, maybe south to the "Springs". Visited the Garden of the Gods back in April. Last visit we got in 2 nice hikes. Other was in Castle Rock park where I had a very close encounter with a rattle snake. This time I really want to get closer to the Rockies and try to take in some great views and be able to say that I did hike in the Rockies!

I'm sure it will be cold and snow may shut things down, but we're gonna give it our best shot. I know many despise the politics of some states, but from what I did see last visit, Colorado is beautiful, unlike this suckhole city and state I live in. We are planning to be just outside the Denver area, west and maybe south by 30 - 40 miles. So I ask for testimony as to any great hiking I should put on the list. Thank you!
