SOLD MagPul PRS Stock (Gen-2) Like New 308 Version with Extra's

I have a MagPul PRS (Gen-2) Stock up for sale. These are no longer available and hard to find as MagPul replaced them with their less popular Gen-3 version that nobody really likes. This one is the 308 caliber version and is Like New. This was a take off from a Like New GAP-10 Rifle that I recently sold and the buyer had a different stock for it and didn’t need this one. I had an extra extension tube, spring and buffer lying around that came off another 308 Rifle, I believe it was from an Armalite AR10 308, that I will include, plus I am including a B&T Accu-Shot Monopod to complete the look. This is a Complete Stock Assembly ready to install on your 308 Rifle or Build.

Only $OLD Shipped.

The "Taylor was Here" Rear Bag - Answer - Compromise - Grande' - *SHIPPING DAILY*

IMG_3112.png

I have a very unique take on your relationship with your rear bag and its relationship to your shooting. What for some is a total afterthought, given very little consideration beyond what is trending in the marketplace or is being promoted heavily by this shooter or that. My take comes from being in your space. You see, I spend a ton of time down on a knee watching the relationship between shooter and equipment. This time provides me, and ultimately you, a diagnosis of what is going wrong, or should we say “differently” from shot to shot.

My loaded necks are .289 so I'm using a .288 bushing. YMMV though

I have 300 pieces of Lapua brass all the same lot number and loaded neck is very consistant at .289 to .2895. Other lot numbers may vary in thickness.

40gr. H4350, 140gr. Berger Hybrid, CCI 450 primer

This load bugholes out of my 27in. Bartlein barrel... I don't have excess to a Chrono yet although...

41gr- 41.5gr. H4350 is a bugholer also, just find your barrels best .1 increment within that window and you will be happy....

Has anyone noticed anything different between CCI 400, 450m and BR4? Are you guys able to get low SD numbers using the 400s, 450s, vs BR4s?

Help installing falkor handguard

Anyone know how to install this handguard from falkor? I can't find anything on the interweb except it appears to have been produced by EMG. I know the longer screws go throw the handguard and the barrel nut but not sure about small ones and the pins.
I already emailed them for some help but probably won't here anything till Monday. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Starting a small casting company - need feedback

My good friend and I are going to start a casting company in the next 3 months. Nothing too big. He has been wanting a side job as he is semi retired and I realized I have all the equipment to run a small casting shop. I can get custom molds and dies easily so the sky is the limit.

I'm looking for feedback from you guys regarding what bullet sizes you would be most interested in. I can do odd stuff like gas checked bullets for 9.3x62, or gas checked .310 bullets for a Finnish Mosin. I can do long range bullets for the BPCR stuff.

We will obviously support things like 45-70, 38-55, 10mm, 44 mag (.430 to .432), 38, and the .510 stuff.

If any of you guys want cast bullets for a .510 Whisper I can get the dies for that.

We don't have the massive industrial machines or volume to compete with HSM or guys like that, so we plan on meeting market demand more in the niche stuff.

Obviously once we actually start the business I'll get a supporter account. This is not a for sale post. I am just gauging interest to know what dies to order beyond what I already have.

I may have the opportunity next year to set up a similar company in Europe due to some unique circumstances. I am checking into the regulations regarding that. Maybe you EU guys will then get to have more options that are actually cost effective, too.

Let me know below what sizes you want and I'll see what we can do.

Thanks.

Suppressors Suppressor Mounts: Weight and Length

Hey folks!

I wanted to provide a summary of some mounting options out on the market for HUB or 1.375x24 threaded suppressors. There are a ton of systems out on the market, each with their own spec, weights, and lengths, and I wanted to highlight some of what I've found through experience, to help inform purchase decisions. Hopefully this sparks some discussion or encourages some thought about your own setups, and why you choose what you did.

I will say that I am currently switching to rearden atlas for my sdn6, coming from keymo and hellfire. This is temporary until I have a dedicated bolt gun can, but I want to share between bolt guns and gas guns...until my kgm r30 clears. Then it's back to hellfire for bolt guns for me.

Holler! Photos below for you visual learners.

Mount overview
System weight: muzzle device and bravo spec adapter weight.
Length added to suppressor: adapter length when added to suppressor.
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: length of total system when muzzle device is inside adapter.

Keymo.
System weight: 8.4oz.
Length added to suppressor: 1.15".
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: 1.32"

Area 419 Hellfire.
System weight: 3.3oz.
Length added to suppressor: 0.35".
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: 0.35

Plan B spec/Rearden Atlas.
System weight: 4.4oz.
Length added to suppressor: 0.5".
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: 0.65".

Keymo Pros.
Good lockup.
Industry support.

Keymo cons.
Heavy.
Long.

Area 419 hellfire pros.
Lightest overall.
Minimal length added.
Ability to run highly effective muzzle brakes when un suppressed.
Amazing return to zero.
Adapters for nearly every suppressor made.
Best for precision rifle applications.

Area 419 cons.
Looks goofy AF on small diameter barrels.
Limited muzzle device options.
Muzzle device is separate from suppressor mount.

Plan B/Rearden Atlas pros.
Light and compact for QD style system. Solid overall system.
Usable muzzle devices when un suppressed.
Effective taper mount.
Lots of aftermarket support.
Affordable.
Threads feel buttery.
