The reticles are slightly different, with the DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescope having the illumination in the whole Christmas Tree portion of the reticle vs the Arken EP-5 7-35x56 which is illuminated in only the center.

We are also told that the Japanese extra low dispersion glass in the DNT Riflescope is optically superior. It features a 45-degree canted windage indicator so you can see where you're at without compromising your shooting position. It also includes the Throw Lever.

My wife is scouring the internet for a new set of pots and pans after the last $1,000+ dollar set of miracle "lasts forever, nothing will ever stick, they will add 30 points to your credit score overnight etc." Pans that we bought a few years ago have begun to deteriorate.

Help me fellas, where do we spend the money on pans that will perform and last. I don't want anything with Teflon or other shit that is slowly poisoning you, but I already have a closet full of cast iron, and each time you use them, the cleaning process is long and tedious. Looking for every day pots and pans for general cooking. Anybody have any advice?

Apologize I know this gets talked about a bunch but things change and I like to get opinions. I’m looking for a light NRL hunter longer range hunting scope. I’m running the 5-25 mark 5 and its pretty decent , field of view is kinda meh and the turrets aren’t my favorite. I have a 4-16 ATACR but want a little more mag if possible and the reticle gets a bit thick at top end.

Looking for something under 35oz’s closer to 30 is better
20x or better would be great
Great glass and great turrets
Best possible field of view
Needs to work with LH action
Illumination preferred but not a deal breaker
Sub 4k

I want to build two bolt action guns (one 375 H&H and one 416 rigby vs 404 Jeffrey) with the following criteria :

- m98 style action (controlled feed)
- left hand
- threaded barrel
- traditional stock shape

I’ve tried to do my research but I am getting lost in the weeds. Greatly appreciate your help.

I’ve been looking for a scope that I can shoot on low magnification with both eyes open, like thick hardwoods hunting situations but also give me a mil/mil reticle and 8x+ power for shooting steel at longer ranges. Ok, so the SwampFox 2-12x FFP scope with RECCE reticle fits the bill. I have begun evaluating it and comparing it to some other scopes I have. The whole lineup:

I review scopes for my own purposes, which is a focus on how I use and operate a scope. My priorities are that it tracks properly and that the controls are easy to operate and see from behind the rifle. I mostly use mil/mil scopes with zero stop. A useful scope to me is one that gives me an eyebox that works in various rifle positions, has a good uncluttered reticle and provides good field of view. Illumination is important to me in scopes I might use for CQB, that have low 1x-2.5X magnification as well as FFP scopes where the reticle changes size dramatically. The illumination helps me see some FFP reticles which become small and thin at low magnification. Glass quality isn’t a top priority, but poor image crispness can become a hindrance or a distraction. So for me, the higher the quality of the scope, the less I worry about image quality. For this Swampfox I will pay closer attention to glass quality than I would for a Zeiss or Kahles.

1. Unbox and setup, fit and finish - Box is well packed. Comes with a throw lever, which is easy to attach using the provided Allen. Throw lever works well and mag ring moves smoothly.
Turrets have a nice tactile click.
There is no Revolution counter which is a shame because I find it a useful feature and it costs almost nothing to put marks on the inside of the turret column.
The reticle focus is easy to adjust. I’d rather it be a lockable adjustment because I have no reason to change it once it is set to my eyes. Hopefully it doesn’t move when I put a scope cap on the ocular.
Parallax adjust works well and the numbers seem pretty accurate for the ranges I tried so far.
Installing the battery was easy.
I don’t like that there is no OFF position in between the illumination dial numbers 1-11. When you are at either ends max of 11 or minimum of 1, you can just move it one position to 0 for off, but if you’re in the middle, like 4,5,6,7, then you have to move it as many as 6 positions to turn it off.
The turrets are locked. Pop it up and it is ready to dial. Pop it back down and it is locked again. Well executed.
The box includes a nice reticle card which shows the reticle at 2X, 12X and the subtensions outlined on the flip side.

16.1” SS Odin Works barrel chambered in 350 Legend with a 1/10 twist and adjustable gas block. Fantastic accuracy and has less than 50 rounds through it. I have a 20 rd 350L mag somewhere I’ll include if I can find it.

Bought this a couple years back for my grandpa to use during gun season but he’s not able to hunt anymore so sending this down the road. Suppresses really nicely!

BRAND NEW Manners XL Arca rail (steel) for TCS stocks. My TCS now houses my rimfire rifle, so this is a little too much. Never used on a rifle, just a loose test fit. Its about 15.5" long and 5/8" thick weighing 3lbs 11.4oz. It has pockets at the front of the rail, primarily for their Front Stabilizing Weight, but you can also fit two of their regular internal weights there, if desired. Manners doesn't include mounting hardware, its expected that you use your existing mounting screws.
