Building an AR-10 for gas gun div. Thinking about getting an XTR Pro for the scope. Seeing what everyone uses for scope mounts. I've looked at the JP because they have a 34mm 20moa mount with 4 cross bolts that looked to be pretty rigid. I considered seekins but all of theirs are 0moa. What are ya'll using for long range AR usage?

I shoot in a weekly .22 match at a local range. It alternates 50 and 100 yards each week. Right now, I alternate using a Remington 40X and a Winchester 52D on the weeks that we shoot 100 yards. Both do pretty well at that distance.

I'm trying to entice my oldest son to join the match with me and I recently glommed another Winchester 52D for him as an incentive...

Well just finished reading SB 279 which has been introduced in the NM Senate. and the gun grabbing commies in Santa Fe are hoping to outdo the commie's in CO. Basically outlaws and gas operated weapons and would require SA pistols to have a fixed magazine. In addition, current owners would be required among other things to register them. Funny thing the sponsors of this legislation are all dumber than a box of rocks and have trouble putting a single sentence together no less write this legislation.

Watch out for @tlsmith22, “he” was selling an M14/EBR chassis yesterday, I paid and after further conversation got too many red flags. He stopped replying to me in the end. I was able to recover my payment thankfully. Not sure how long he’s been hacked for, he’s a long time member with good feedback and routine conversation engagement. First off, I'm going to acknowledge the "how in the hell?" question that people over on arfcom have been hitting me up with. I initially had five of these Swarovski EL binos and have sold two. I did some work for a dealer and we came up with an idea that helped us both. He'd over bought on these and they aren't moving fast enough. So he offered them as partial payment at a significant discount. So he cleared out inventory, doesn't have to come out of pocket as much, and I get to sell these to increase me profit on the job. And yes, I'm making a profit on them. That doesn't mean I can just give them away, but they are significantly cheaper with me than with anyone else. Onto the sale!

Hi all new to the group.

I am finishing up a LMT MWS 308 build. I haven't really seen anyone doing something like this so figured I would see what the feedback was. I have a TA11 Acog with donut of death reticle, QD mounted and plan on using that for most things with this LMT. However I also have a bolt action Montana X2 and wanted to see if there was a way to share an optic with both my LMT and my Montana. In case I want to shoot further out with the LMT on the range.

I found a killer deal on a S&B Polar 96 2.5-10 with a Zeiss ZM rail mount. These are very common in Europe but never really caught on in the US, which I never understood. Great thing with this setup is no need for scope rings, so using pic rail mounts on my bolt action, I can swap between my LMT and Montana, without needing to change a thing with the scope mount. QD mount lines up perfectly on both platforms. I needed to get a cheek riser for the bolt action but I actually like it better that way anyways so it all worked out.

Only issue will be needed to zero the scope each time but I am curious to see how off it will actually be between the two.
