Eberlestock repair (warranty accepted)

not 100% sure where this question should go, but lets just start here.

I've got an Eberlestock G2 Gunslinger (1st gen) with no frame and it's been one of my favorites. HOWEVER, it needs repairs.
The internal scabbard is basically torn to shreds from constant in/out from a spiked foot Ckye-Pod.
Year or two ago, I contacted Eberlestock and was told it's roungly $50-$100 more to repair it than it cost to buy a new one (once shipping both ways is factored in).

Any recommendations on a person, vendor or even type of industry person to contact that could do the repair?
The rest of the pack has held up very well, but the inside of the scabbard is toast. It's bad enough now that even being carful isn't careful enough to get the rifle in or out without damaging the foam liner.

I know it's not easy, but it doesn't need to be OEM perfect...it just needs to be durable. Seems like peeling it open on the side seams would make re-lining it with 500 or 1000d a fairly quick fix...provided someone had the right type of sewing machine.

M118LR all the same regardless of the name on the box?

Not reloading but ammunition specific question, and I do reload…

My question since Federal lost the contract at LC to Winchester so far as I recall. Seeing ammunition sold as M118LR begs the question, is this like M193 has become in some instances a BS marketing thing rather than advertising the ammunition actually meets the spec? Or is all M118LR loaded at the LC plant by Winchester and just repackaged by some vendors in their box?

This may be a dumb question, but hear me out?

So, a friend of mine and I was at the range, and I let him shoot one of my pistols with a RDS on it and he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it.

I zeroed it to hit POA POI at exactly 25yds and that is exactly what it was doing for me.

He kept asking me where should the bullet go? I kept telling him where you put the red dot should be the POI.

Anyway, I was like man I don't know what the fuck you are doing, but for me its hitting exactly where the red dot is.

My question is even though it was zeroed for me with my eyes could it not have been zeroed for him the way his eyes look through the sight?

Now this got me thinking with rifle scopes if I zero my scope for me and if someone else looks through it (other than the diopter needing to be adjusted for the reticle) shouldn't it be zeroed for them as well?

I got a friend that wants me to mount and zero a new scope for him and it got me thinking "when he looks through it will it be zeroed for him as well?"

LRF w/ballistics

Looking for an LRF with onboard ballistics. I will eventually get a Kestrel 5700 Elite so I'm leaning towards a compatible unit.

Curious to know if the onboard ballistics of the LRFs are worth a damn until I get the Kestrel. I currently use a combination of Strelok and GeoBallistics. As for my use case, I plan to stretch target shooting out to 1,200 yards and hunting out to 500 yards.
