Savage 7mm rem mag to 7mm prc, what's needed?

Hello all. Im relatively new to bolt action rifles (mostly a precision gasser) but wanting to dabble in bolt actions.

Wife has an older Savage 110 7mm rem mag she used for hunting but hasnt shot it in atleast 12+ years. I was looking to change it up some and thought about going to 7mm prc. My question is, without making this some over the top build, what's all needed for the conversation?

I figured a nice chassis wouldn't hurt (maybe in the $500ish range...maybe a MDT LSS-LX). I'd prefer to spend the money on a quality barrel (criterion). I just don't know what twist is best for 7mm prc. also, would the bolt face need to be swapped? I'm sure I'll have to swap to a magazine base as well but that will depend on the chassis.

Also, what is needed to convert it from an internal magazine (blind mag) to a box fed? Just swap out the bottom metal?

My goal with this rifle is a solid longer range (1200-1500 yards) rifle without trying to break the bank.

$80,000 worth of guns donated to CMP

Roger J. has been a valued and dedicated customer of the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) for many years, consistently investing several thousands of dollars in auction items to add to his impressive collection of military history. His passion for preserving and honoring the legacy of our nation’s military firearms is evident in his long-standing support of the CMP’s mission.

Recently, Roger’s generosity took another meaningful step as he made a remarkable donation of nearly $80,000 worth of rifles back to the CMP. This donation, which includes several rare and historically significant firearms, reflects his deep commitment to supporting the program and ensuring that future generations can experience and learn from these iconic pieces of military history.

The firearms will be reauctioned off to be kept in the CMP family of historic firearms enthusiasts. Those funds will be used to further the CMP’s mission to promote marksmanship and firearms safety training.

POF revolution 6.5 creedmoor - Yay or Nay

For some background all my AR style platforms are in 5.56, 300blk, 9mm, .22 and I have never really had the desire for a large frame AR platform until now and I don't know why but I just have an itch for a 6.5 gasser. Thinking it might be a nice multi purpose plinking and hunting rifle. Not looking to win any matches with it but I would like something that shoots MOA 5 shot groups @100 (pending I do my part)

I would like to keep this a budget gun as I am really not to sure how much ill shoot it so I am really looking at used Aero builds as there seem to be quite a few that pop up. But by chance a friend at works brother has a very lightly used POF revolution that he might be selling and the concept of this platform has sparked my interest. I did some quick googling (but we all know how that goes...) and there seem to be a lot of hit or miss reviews about these guns, specifically the barrel QAQC and lack of customer service.

I was wondering what others thoughts were on these rifles?
