How do you make Thanksgiving Stuffing?

It’s that time of year again. When happy families gather with all their loved ones and maybe some not so loved ones, to celebrate the bounty life brings, or not.

So the most important question on everyone’s minds is making the stuffing for the turkey, right?

1732662951407.png

It’s probably obvious to all that a good stuffing uses cubed toasted bread with spices, giblets and neck that have been steeped with celery, garlic and onion (the resulting broth used later in the preparation) then broken down to add to the mix. Celery, onion, garlic, poultry seasoning and other spices, all mixed with some additional chicken broth to the right consistency and stuffed into the cavities of the turkey while hot. Then also a large casserole pan of the same stuffing baked with it so that there’s enough.

Then, after Thanksgiving dinner, a later night huge sandwich with turkey, that same stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise on a heavy white bread for dessert.

I mean, is there another way? 🤷🏻‍♂️

SOLD Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 scope and Axion 2 XQ35 Pro monocular

For sale: Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 thermal scope. It has a 640 sensor, 50mm objective, 3-24x.

Warranty expires in July 2029. I purchased the scope in July and it’s in pristine, like-new condition. It’s been to the range only once for zeroing. No hunting or other use. This is one of Pulsar’s top-line scopes. The image is superb and the LRF tracks very accurately. I’m selling because I’ve decided to go in another direction with thermals.

The scope comes with all original accessories. I also will include an extra APS 3 battery ($100 retail) and an ADM Delta QD scope mount ($300 retail).

Also for sale is a Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 Pro monocular, 384 sensor, 2-8x, I purchased around the same time as the scope. Its warranty also extends to July 2029. Like-new condition. Excellent image. Original accessories plus extra battery and APS 5 charger ($130 retail together).

Price for the scope, ADM mount, and extra battery: $4950 including shipping and insurance.
Price for the scope and extra battery (no mount): $4700 including shipping and insurance.
Price for the monocular, extra battery, and charger: $1000 including shipping and insurance.
Price for everything: $5750 including shipping and insurance.

I take Venmo, Zelle, USPO money orders, or personal check (won’t ship until check clears).

Alternative to .223?

Getting a setup together for my 8 year old to learn on. Looking for something 22 cal (so I can use my AEM5) that is .308 bolt face but has similar characteristics to .223 like low recoil and isn’t an absolute barrel burner. Factory ammo would be nice since I don’t currently reload (I know, this is the reloading forum but figure this is the best place to ask). Does anything like that exist?

WTB Knights M110 Suppressor

There’s gotta be someone in here who can help a long time hide member out! 🤞

I have a KAC M110, and I’m needing an original M110 suppressor. At this time, round count or condition isn’t all that important.

I also have high end long range or short range trade items if someone is looking for something unique as barter material.

Please help a brother out if you have one sitting in the safe collecting dust.

Thanks!

Magnum Chassis

Looking for a 300 win magnum stock RECOMMENDATION (piss off with the PMs). I stripped/ripped out the front stock screw of my Bergara Premier in 300WM while using a harris bipod (She is a beast!). Was thinking a KRG Bravo in R700 LA, but are there any chassis out there that have a built in ARCA front rail (Yeah I can add an ARCA rail, but why not save the trouble!). This is my messin around/hunting rifle, so really not wanting to drop 1400 on a HNT-26 or similar "PRS style chassis" (I like chasis though) Trying to keep it "affordable" as again, hunting/screw around rifle. Weight not really an issue, as weight helps tame the recoil, just solid front attackment points (pic rail ok to, ARCA better).

Free Targets/Organizational Files/etc

Wanted to share a link from a website that I created for reloaders/competitors/hunters/shooters. This link will take you to the reproducible page. On this page you can find all the sight-in, load development, and load ladder targets that I use. Also, on the same page, will be printable versions of different "worksheets" that I use to keep my rifle data organized. Items like seating depth charts, cartridge box information, current load, and off season brass work forms. Most of these forms are in pdf or doc which means if you want to adjust to fit your personal style just download and change. Hope this helps. Happy Thanksgiving.

Precision Rifle Gear The Cole Tac Koozie

No, it’s not a catalog item, but when I realized my Cole Tac suppressor cover would make a nifty Red Bull koozie, I had them sew one up without the heat shield to fit the 8oz can dimensions. I had wanted to make a koozie for the 8oz cans since I first got addicted to these darned things years ago. The finished product showed up in the mail yesterday. Without doubt the coolest koozie at the range.

Help me out on a Ruger American Gen2 Build

So, I was not planning on getting another rifle, but the PX had a 20% off sale going on and had a Ruger American Gen2 Predator in 308 Win. I got it for $400, no tax. I just could not pass it up. I am wanting to do a chassis hunting rig. Trying to keep it fairly light, maybe 8 lbs with scope. I have been looking at the offerings and right now it looks like KRG Bravo, MDT Field, MDT LSS, and Sharps Bros Heatseeker for chassis'. I am also keeping an eye out for Black Friday scope deals. I would like to keep the scope under 20 oz with a 16x magnification. I do need to pull the action from the stock and weigh it so I know what my limits are. Also, while not a bare bones budget, I do want to keep it lower or I could have ended up buying a rifle already in a chassis system.

Open to suggestions. Anyone done a build like this? Thoughts on components?
