Deciding between 25GT and 25x47

Did some research, eliminated 25 Creedmoor, 25 PRC and 25 Dasher. Couldn't decide between these last 2 calibers for shooting paper target or knocking steel plate around 1000-1300yards, wonder if I could get some suggestions to help me choose between these two.

Would be shooting in prone and single load most of the time, would try casual PRS match using 28inch barrel probably in 7-7.5twist with berger 135 hybrid.
Spot hit or miss is not that crucial if not shooting PRS, most of the PRS match I go to is around 500-700 so it should be a problem to see it.
I know 25GT is slower and has less case capacity to push it to higher speed and longer range than the 25x47 , but it has less recoil I believe.

For reloading components and tools, I know Alpha makes brass for both, seems only SAC has dies for both calibers, Forster only has dies for 25GT.
Reamer wise, Manson has 25x47 in stock, not sure who else makes good reamer apart from Alpha's legacy reamer.

Anything else I missed?

Picked this up from another forum member and put it on my 308 and put a couple hundred rounds down range. Great scope that lives up to the DLO recommendation, but have some other home expenses to cover so this has to go.

Comes with the both Tenebrax caps, original paperwork, original box, original bikini cover, Zeiss extension and extension cap.

Please see past feedback for reference and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Getting a 1k class gun built

Technically not ELR, but i think its more ELR than the general bolt forum.

I've been shooting F-class (1K) for a couple years. Doing my first build. I need "help" as in when I try and contact a smith for advice, I kinda get blown off. I'm not super into "I have to have action X", for instance Bugholes has a special on Terminus + barrel that seems like a slam dunk. But then there is getting the tuner, the stock (espeically the stock) and I get bogged down in choices. Whats the best way to get one of these guys to walk me through a buld. I know I want a 7PRCW (6.5 PRC necked up for 7mm bergers), but after that is a lot of trouble as I know I like a cheek riser, but apparently that doesn't go with the RAT system on stocks. I have no clue what trigger to hang, its a damn trigger. I'm still struggling with my front rest and rear bags, so stock choices are like "Pick One" (plus trying to make friends at the range: Use Bob he's great--except I can't get Bob to tell me what to build)

I really need advice on how to talk to a gunsmith to get them to help me finalize a build, already spent "months" researching and then when I said "lets get started" they dropped the stock thing on me (I haven't a clue what stock to get) and it derailed everything. I can get a barreled action, but once again, how do I get the tuner. (i got 10 left thumbs so trying to pillar bed an f-class gun as a first attempt seems stupid). I am seriously so frustrated that I might buy an origin+barrel slap it in a chassis and just take the shit that comes with that.

Truing Ballistic Calculator, Velocity Errors?

I'm trying to true my ballistic calculator with some actual DOPE. I only have good data to 500m, but I have that for a total of 4 loads across 2 rifles. Without truing I get some results from the calculators that are waaaay off - always more elevation, and sometimes as much as 50% more elevation than I actually need. I'd like to travel a bit and get some longer range shooting in (pretty dense bush near me), but it would be nice to not spend all day messing around with try dope that's 5 mils high!

I've tried several different calculators to check my results (they all give similar or the same solutions). Currently using the Hornady standard ballistic calculator on the website, but also tried the Hornady app, JBM ballistics, Strelok, etc.

My data is muzzle velocity from a Caldwell chronograph, environmental info from a kestral, measured scope height with a caliper, and measured targets at known distances. So far I'm just using the BC from the box (some loads G1 is all I have. If I have a G7 I use that).

I've also been using Gordons Reloading Tool for a while. I have been very impressed that with several loads including different cartridges, powders, bullets, etc, that it has always predicted within 50fps of my measured muzzle velocity, and usually about +/- 20fps. I have manually measured the case capacities in grains of H20 for an input (sometimes a bit different than the default value), and I measure my powder charges on an RCBS matchmaster. My "good" loads I reject any charge that doesn't fall within an ES of 0.4 grains, so usually single digit velocity SD for a 5 shot group. I thought I had everything pretty precisely controlled and my numbers were matching up good between the software and the chrono!

If I true the computer by adjusting muzzle velocity, I have to increase my measured velocities by 8-19% for the computer to match my DOPE. This is 4 different loads in 2 different rifles.

Is it really possible that my chronograph is reading 250-500fps low, even though it lines up with the numbers from Gordon's Reloading Tool (which I believe is similar to quickload, although I've never used quickload)? Is there something else I'm missing?

I ruled out scope tracking errors with a tall target test and trying this with 2 different rifles with different optics.

Loads tested are:
308 Win with a 125 TNT
308 Win with a 180 Accubond
308 Win with 185 Juggernaut
6.5 Creedmoor with 123 Scenar
