I have a SKB 5014 double rifle case, OD green, 49" long. It has a HDPE foam insert done by Brack to hold a PRS type kit, MPA BA, R700 clone with a 26" bbl, mags, bipod, etc. These are nice cases vs the pelicans, his foam is a higher quality vs something off amazon. Used, has some handling marks. Young Manufacturing flip up front sight gas block, .750", 1.895" long, front sight area is 3" long. Your rail would need to be short or have a slot cut in the top for this to sit back flush. Has one picatinny rail slot on top, 3 set screws to hold onto barrel. Well just figured I'd share my experience.
Ordered a new knife for my kid and was pretty disappointed with MKC. The blade almost had a chisel grind to it making the tip pretty far off centered, and lots of tooling marks on the spine.

Sent the knife back asking for a refund and now to start looking elsewhere.

Any suggestions? Looking for hunting knife in the 3" range. Would prefer a drop point.

Bought two by accident

I have 2 Bushnell scopes that I no longer need.

SOLD First is a LRHS 4.5-18 with the donut reticle in mils. Scope has scuffs and scratches from hunting but is in good mechanical condition. Rings and level have been sold seperate. Asking $650 shipped CONUS. SOLD

Next is a Bushnell 4500 2.5-10 with BDC reticle. Was on a backup rifle that had very little use but there are some scuff from being in the safe. Asking $175 dropped to $140 shipped CONUS.

I’m selling two Nightforce 2.5-20x50 NX8s. Both of them are C639, Second focal MOA. Both of them are Cerakoted coyote tan. Both in good condition. Some minor marks on the Cerakote, glass is perfect. The silver marks will wipe off with brake cleaner. Both have boxes and come with the lens covers. I’ve decided to go to 4-32 for consistency.

Cerakoted in carbon grey elite by my company.

Set only had 40 rounds on it before being pulled for a different setup for testing.

Setup was perfect with an 11.3 barrel. Keymo suppressor fit perfectly.

Alright first off, if this ends up in the wrong area Mods feel free to move it to the proper one.

So to any MDT XRS chassis owners, I designed and 3D printed these prototype forend weight/side panel/stabilizing wings. I’m in the process of getting them quoted to be made out of steel. Based on initial design numbers they are roughly 3lbs per side for a total of 6lbs of added weight.

They will replace the plastic side cover on the forend and add 10 more mlok pockets for a total 13 mlok pockets which equates to 6.5 mlok slots. The three counterbores for the attachment screws will be QD cups for for accessories or slings.

I’m going to cerakote them in fde and black to match the chassis colors. The color in the pictures is just the closest color filament I had.

I’m trying to gage interest to see if this is an accessory other precision rifle shooters might want and if I should make more than a set for myself. If anyone is interested I was thinking about selling for $350 a set.

I’m thinking about switching out my Nightforce Atacr 4-16x42 to a 5-25x56 for hunting. I’ve used the 4-16 for a bunch of years now and killed a pile of critters, but lately I’ve felt like I’d like to have a little more zoom. I know they aren’t very light, it doesn’t bother me though. I’m in somewhat decent shape. I’m also a big fan of the Mil-R reticle.

Do any of you use the Atacr 5-25 for hiking and hunting? If so I’d sure appreciate some feedback back.

Currently I have an ATACR 1-8 mounted to my Knights SR15 on a NF ultra mount at 1.54”. I like the scope a lot but I’ve been told the VCOG 1-8 has better eye relief and FOV. I recently just picked up a new HK MR556 which is on order. I was debating maybe getting another LPVO for the HK or putting a dot magnifier on my Knights and putting the LPVO on the HK. I’m wondering if the VCOG is better, worse, or the same as an ATACR. I’m struggling to decide what kind of optic to use on the new HK when it arrives. What I like about the VCOG is that it has an integrated mount, and I’d probably option for the SOC version for the Christmas tree reticle (which I like on the ATACR). What do you all think? Currently I also run a T2 on a 300blk SBR as well. I’ve only within the last year gotten into and learned to appreciate a good LPVO but damn they are pricey.
