Trying to figure out where money would be best spent.. I have a V22 with a 20" barrel that was built 5 years ago. I have a decent range to shoot at that minimizes wind however, I struggle with vertical dispersion shooing center x at 300yds. At best, I'm grouping ~ 2.5MOA. Ive been debating on doing a barrel swap but I'm not sure the juice is worth the squeeze. 50 - 200 consistently print sub MOA.

I have tried multiple brands and lots of ammo to include CCI green tag wich had the lowest ES of all but prefomed terribly at 100yds. Best prefomer has been center X and MV's show ~1080.

The end goal is to have a rifle that can shoot a wide birth of ammo well. Im tired of chasing lots and buying bricks that ultimaly will never get used not to mention the availbliliy of Lupua seems to be increasingly elusive.

Open to any suggestions to include re-chambering my exisiting barrel.

I'm working up an elr load and possibly a long range hunting load. It's a 28in 300norma shooting the 225gr eldm. The barrel is fast, brass and powder are allowing for a very good load at approx 3100fps. I know it's not necessary, let's not debate that. The question on hand is whether or not the 225 will survive at that speed. I've personally seen the 230gr atip come apart at at far less speed, so I'm wary. I want the performance that the cartridge is capable of, and that bullet gives it at that speed. Has anyone run the 225 that fast for long?

Selling my trg-42 chambered in 338 LM. Hate to sell this one but I need the funds for another project. Rifle is a post 13 model with the 10 twist. Has ~ 500 rounds through it. Steiner M5 military 5-25 with a great reticie MSR. MIL open turrets CCW = Counterclockwise for +UP elevation dial. 34mm tube. Great shape overall, superficial light marks on turret sharp edges here and there. Perfect glass, bell, bottom of bell, Tiny scratch near ring area shown. Only disclosure, thin O-ring for battery cap is torn. The cap is on tight so you don't spin it off for the Illumination control. I created a ticket with Steiner online for replacements. My local hardware store did not have a thin enough o-ring and I looked through a bunch. $1600 shipped. Retail is pretty crazy on these right now
