I have been using a sonim Xp8 for 4 years and I have enjoyed it. I am a paramedic and member of a SWAT team so I am terrible on phones. This one is beat to shit with pieces of the rubber missing and a few glass screen covers broken, but the main screen is still in one piece and the phone is not ready to give up. The only reason that I am replacing it is because the camera's light meter died and all photos are completely washed out. I have a toddler and I want to be able to take photos of her on the fly so I am thinking of a new phone.

The phone will be exposed to wet environments for swat calls/wilderness rescue and harsh chemicals for decon of blood/biohazzards. It will be dropped by my toddler, and thrown into the corner of the ambulance during shit calls.

I literally only use my phone for texting, pulsara/protocol aps, shooting aps, photos, internet and youtube. No games, no aps outside of work/shooting. I don't need any fancy power or large screens.

The consensus on the internet is buy a modern phone (iphone 15 or galaxy 23/24) and put it in a rugged case, no need for a rugged phone. But I still have an issue walking away from rugged phones. I have only had two phones since 2013, meanwhile my wife is on her third galaxay in 5 years due to parts breakage.

Does anyone have any experience with the sonim Xp10 or Cat 62? Or does anyone favor a mainstream phone in a rugged case?

If I was to start printing custom dope cards, reloading trays, etc. and selling them on Etsy, are there people who would be interested in buying them? I figure you could get me a picture of your paper dope card and I could put it into a 3d card around 1mm thick. There is technology that allows you to do multi-color prints, so I would do the text in one color and the rest in another. Would use a tough material like ABS or maybe PETG. I’d be glad to hear your thoughts.

Up for sale is a Rare Accuracy International 06 SM chambered .300 win mag. with the Rare tan skins on the chassis. It has a factory marked fluted barrel, optional rear mono-pod and front sight with the single chamber brake that is threaded on the end. It comes with the factory bipod and one 5rd magazine. On top is a Schmidt Bender 5-25x56mm PM II and the mount has the diving board for a SIMRAD clip on night vision device. Here is one of the earliest and best condition Semi Auto HK G3's you ever will find. Golden State Arms Corp. Santa Fe division had these rifles imported from HK Germany, the earliest being the 3/62 batch that this rifle is from and the first ever HK rifles commercially imported to the U.S.. The rifle is marked G3 as the "HK91" nomenclature was not around until 1974 nor had the G41 name been assigned like the later batches. They basically pulled rifles from the G3 production line and assembled them with a semi auto trigger group that had been marked with the G.S.A.C. markings. These early rifle had no denials installed on them initially and retain the the front push pin hole for the trigger group. These rifles like the early G series browning FAL's were approved by the ATF as they had already been imported but the later batches had to modified with denials on the receiver. As you can see in the photo's this G3 looks like new and has all of it's numbers matching parts. Don't let this HK G3 get away from you or your collection, they rarely come up for sale in this condition.

Up for sale is an Extremely Rare Tanodized Colt Defense 901 modular carbine MRGG-A rifle. These carbines were Colts entry into the Mid Range Gas Gun submission and very few were ever produced, This is the only one we've seen! It has a 16" chrome lined barrel and the hand guard has a rail extension added to the standard rail giving more rail attachment space for night vision or thermal optics to be mounted in front of the day scope as well as lights or laser. With the addition of the added rail the flip up front sight is no longer needed and has a regular style gas block. This rifle looks to be in unfired condition. The accessory case has spare fasteners, tools, floor plate with spring in came with the rifle. The M24A2 has the M.A.R.S. 20 MOA rail installed allowing you to mount your favorite night vision or thermal clip-on device in front of the Mark 4 scope. This M24A2 did not come with the side rails but they can be added if you want to mount a laser designator, illuminator or range finder to complete the build out of this M24A2. Anyone have one of these? I'm shooting more and more and while I love reloading I am trying to streamline things for time saving purposes.

I am currently loading on a Dillon 650 (which I would probably keep as I have multiple toolheads / case feeder etc etc and I could use it for little jobs) but the Apex 10 is a pretty awesome piece of kit and has enough stations that there are no compromises (swaging / powder check / separate seating & crimping which from what I have read is deffo the way to go).

I watched some videos and the Apex is pretty involved to switch calibers so I would only do that to do a large volume . This press would be setup almost exclusively for loading 9mm, maybe once a year I would switch toolheads to process - ie decap / size / swage - pre cleaned 9mm brass before cleaning it again (I know it is two passes but it keeps all the crap away from the press and the loaded ammo doesn't have lube on it). Bulk 223 would be the same deal.

I would be purchasing this and running manually initially to get it setup / get a feel for it with a view to automating. I would add the suite of sensors as that is part of the attraction (swage sense / primer orientation etc etc).

My questions to anyone who has the Apex 10:

1) My main question is how has the priming system performed? I have read a LOT of reviews and the one negative thing I kept seeing was priming issues - I know not everyone is mechanically minded so that could be a factor but if its going to be a heart break I don't want it.

2) Did you get the digital powder measure? If so how has it performed?

3) My current presses live in my unheated garage but I figure the Apex 10 with all the extra tech / gadgetry really needs to live somewhere more hospitable / heated - where does yours live at and how has the reliability been?

4) What dies are you using? FW Arms seem to be the go to for this machine - anyone running these?

Lyman / Mark 7 are working on another new press which is pretty revolutionary (Genesys) and I am keeping an eye on that but they have been saying it is just about to be released now for some time which makes me nervous (hopefully they are getting the final gremlins ironed out and it will be awesome). It is more of a out of the box solution with everything included and a bunch of new technology (separate motors for indexing / moving the toolhead etc etc) as opposed to the Apex 10 which is more of an regular / proven design where you can start basic (ie manually) and add tech until you are fully automated. The Genesys cannot be run manually which is a downside for me (if the press is doing something funky it is good to be able to run it manually to aid in troubleshooting).

Up for sale is a great example of Knight's Mfg. Co. of Vero Beach, FL early Stoner Rifle SR-25 with its original test target and owners manual. It is Rare that these rifles ever have the original paperwork still with them after all these years but this one does have it's original test target with correct serial number, owners manual, letter from Knight's Mfg. Co. and the scope ring installation sheet as well. It comes with the factory rings on the rifle and one magazine. Guys this rifle looks to have been fired very little if any another than the test target rounds. This is a great example to add to your collection and to have the original paperwork to go with it is just amazing.

This HK MSG90A1 started out as a parts kit that was built on a HK SR9 rifle by TSC Machine. This is the closest you will ever get to a real MSG90 here in the USA, as the MSG90's were not imported for civilian use. This rifle is in New unfired condition since it was built. The MSG90A1 has a polygonal barrel that is weighted at the muzzle to aid harmonic stabilization of barrel whip for increased accuracy. It has a Anschutz style T-way on the forend specific to the MSG90 rifles allowing easy installation of a Harris bipod or whichever your favorite bipod may be. This is a dream rifle for a HK collector's. Don't let this one get away from your collection.
