SOLD Athlon Ares ETR UHD 3-18x50 MRAD APRS6 with Rings and Level

I’m selling an as new Ares ETR UHD 3-18x50 Mil in Warne Mountain Tech 7220M 34mm low rings with a MKM XLP billet level.

I just purchased the scope on the sale at Euro Optic last month. I impulse bought two of them because it was such a good deal (normally $900 street price and $675 on expert voice) but I don’t have a use for the second.

The scope is as new, it was leveled and mounted and put in the safe. The glass in these things is amazing and the build quality is great as well.

I paid $624.87 delivered for the scope ($583.99 plus tax), $149.80 for the rings and $75 for the level for a grand total of $840.67.

$725 shipped gets it all. Payment via Zelle or Venmo.

US domestic air travel with thermal spotter and clip on

Any tips for air travel with thermal optics? I would be bringing a small spotter and small clip on. I was planning to carry on but a bit nervous. Any body with experience?

TSA allows a rifle scope. How about a clip on or range finding binos?

I had read somewhere no lasers?

I have done some internet review and not gotten much info.

Firearms New Tuebor Citadel Action - SA, standard BF

I am scrapping my plans to do another PRS build, so this beauty is up for grabs. It’s one of only like 5 that he made with the rectangular ejection port before going to his swept design like on the Raider. It comes with the brass bolt knob and also the original black knob.

It’s at my FFL so it will ship FFL to FFL.

It has a standard bolt face, but if you prefer 223 or magnum I can talk to Matt about swapping it for me.

Per Matt, these actions work with Impact prefits.

$1,500 shipped. Only trade would be vortex Mil/Mil AMG or LHT.

SSG 69 - stock options

Anyone have stock options for this now that McMillan no longer seems to offer anything? I saw some mentions of a guy in the UK, Staffordshire Synthetic Stocks, but haven't been able to get a response from them and was wondering what exports from the UK were going to be like. Would like to hear about other possibilities - looking for something very conservative in design that approximates factory stock.

Switch barrel Remington 700, let’s talk options,

Ok first and foremost, I’m looking to start a compact rifle build. So think takedown and small. I would like at least two caliber options in this kit, possibly three. So my initial questions are regarding switch barrel 700s in general. Those that have them built are you hand torquing the barrel to headspace to a predetermined rating or how are you getting repeatable safe headspacing? Second, interrupted threads. I would like to be able to drop the barrel in place and have quarter turn or one full turn to seat. I know it’s more work but that’s the picture I have in my mind. Lastly, calibers. 300wm which is universal and needs no introduction, then the second is a little more unusual. 12.7x57
Anthis. Google might be necessary but it’s essentially a subsonic European cartridge based on the 460 weatherby brass. Shortened and using a 50bmg bullet. I have a lot of knowledge of this cartridge, having built a couple rifles in this years ago. So brass, dies and even chamber reamer are no issue. For those that don’t know it, go look it up. Serious subsonic .50 caliber. It will be used exclusively in an integrally suppressed barrel. The third, if there is one is yet to be determined. I really wanted something big and magnum as I will already have a .585 bolt face bolt. This little kit will be fitted for two bolts. One to run the 300wm and the second with the larger bolt face for the 460 brass.

Firearms Molot Vepr 7.62x54R

Very lightly used Molot Vepr 7.62x54R rifle. Excellent condition. Comes with 3 mags (5,10 and 20 rounds). Package includes 2400 rounds of ammo. These guns are very hard to find especially in this condition and with this quality wood furniture. NO TRADES. Shipping for buyers account. Will only sell ammo to someone local to Colorado. (Shipping would just be too expensive)

Is 6 ARC gas gun bolt rim too thin if you just shoot Hornady factory ammo?

I have a Seekins SP10 in 6.5 CM and love it. My best friend (no AR experience) wants to get the Seekins DMR (AR15) in 6 ARC. He wants it for self defense, target shooting and whitetail deer hunting occasionally. A guy on Utube , Login to view embedded media , is arguing because the 6 ARC case head diameter is larger than 5.56, the bolt rim thickness is machined down thinner, to fit the AR15 platform? Hornady reloading manual lists a max pressure for gas 6 ARC at 52,000 psi. Bolt rifle 6 ARC max pressure at 62,000 psi. The 6 ARC looks to be an awesome round. Does Hornady load all their factory ammo to the 52,000 psi limit? And is it true the 6 ARC bolt rim is thinner? And is this a cause for concern IF you just shoot Hornady factory ammo?
