Fuck You Yahoo

You normally wont catch me Posting a common BitchFest on the SHcom, But...
My email service was just sold and picked-up by some bigger email service called Yahoo, So last several weeks my forced migration over to this New internet cesspool has been less than stellar. I Can Not believe this company actually stays in business.

Forced to Migrate my email Addy. the last couple weeks It daily nothing but a constant flow of Spam and Advertisement that I never had before. That somehow squeezes through my normal security spam filters. forcing me to set-up another filter . Years being on the Internet I never been compromised with a Hack before, but It ONLY took a week of the Yahoo migration to have my Email address book corrupted/Hacked sending out hundreds of emails asking if people would purchase Amazon gift cards in my Name . Then every single day I go to log-in to check Email, and I am forced by Yahoo to change Passwords, and then after that having a Text Message Code verification number sent to my Cell #, and then check re-accepting Yahoo service terms of agreement just to start each day. Then my normal Pay On-line-billing done here, I only do a few like Utilities, my internet service ..etc also are fuckedup and suddenly not recognizing my Email Addy. . Also WTF is this fucking website containing Zero substance, I really never paid much attention to Yahoo till now being forced to but it's Web Cover Page is just political propaganda with a mix of mindless Jerry Spinger style of Pop Culture puke, and Clik Bait .

SOoooo..FUCK THIS FREE Of Charge Parasitic Web-Site called YAHOO . Yes, I am Bitching like a fucking little girl, and little slow to catch-on, but believe me, I am not continuing to stand in-line everyday with million of others, forced to work harder, to just get fucked in the Ass everyday by this bottom feeding low-life piece of shit Yahoo business model that makes it's living by abuse, and invasive crawling through my PC raping my every key stroke to sell It and Me .
ANYTHING has to be better than Yahoo . So I just quick today browsed around and came up with a decision to run with to free myself from being Yahoo's whore .
I am now smiling, setting up in a ( what seems to be ) a minimal invasive 'pay based' mail service called, Proton .

Sidearms & Scatterguns Surefire X300UA w/ Glock's

I've got an older Surefire X300UA that fits snug (no rattling) on both my Gen 4 Glock 19 and Gen 5 Glock 45 with the 'U' Plate.

I purchased a new Surefire X300UA from an authorized dealer and the 'U' Plate rattles on both the Gen 4 and Gen 5. I read somewhere that the Gen 5 Glocks now have a picatinny. I installed the 'P' Plate. It locks in tight but requires considerable force (toward the trigger guard) before the latch snaps into place.

Anyone else using a X300UA with a Gen 5 Glock? What plate are you using?

Note: I sent an e-mail to Surefire and they said to use the 'U' Plate with Gen 5 Glocks. . . No way was that 'U' Plate going in service rattling and loose like it was.

HK MR223 Adjustable gas port - customize port size

While my HK MR223 runs very smoothly with my 75g3/24.4gr N540 load with the legacy suppressor, it has plenty of gas running factory 55gr bulk ammo.

Fortunately my gunsmith noticed that the adjustable HK gas block can be easily hand-fitted with a replacement gas port made by him. He could not make the new one operable with a hex key, but the slotted should work ok.

You just hold the metallic bolt open, pop out the old one and pop in the new one.

20240925_231312.jpg
20240926_213654.jpg

So far the new one still has too small holes, I inted to try out these two port sizes and record the bolt movement with slo-mo to make the best port sizes. Too bad I cannot get 3 settings into it to make:
-non suppressed
-suppressed Normal for my own loads
-suppressed Low for factory bulk

I will probably make it suppressed Normal and Low as I shoot only suppressed.

*****EDIT******
It worked phenomenally well without any modifications, ejecting brass to 2:30 and 3:30 o'clock with the can on. The low setting was very smooth to shoot but still bolt catched onto an empty mag. The normal setting will most likely run the gun without a can.

This is a must have improvement to have if you already have the 2-step adjustable ("Norwegian") gas port as it costs very little.
******

Not all factory ammo is as gassy, but especially the 55gr Geco bulk which I have stacked on..

Looking forward to modding it but getting it tuned will take some trying. I remember 1.1mm /0.043" being just around to get it to cycle with reloads suppressed and 1.4mm / 0.055" to work without suppressor.

I have a flow-through suppressor too but the legacy suppressors are just so quiet and the sound itself is more pleasant while being considerably lighter. They also do not clog since there is nothing airways to clog which on the flow through gave some variance to gassyness. Yes, you can clean the suppressor but it get really old really fast.

ZCO527 vs NF ATACR 7-35 vs Arken EP5- (Last Light Comparison)

First,
Im not an optics snob. Reliability is my #1 concern. But I have wondered what my 527, 735 and EP5 would look like against each other at last light. Both the 735 and 527 have been used for the same application. Even though it’s mounted on a Vudoo here

Primary use for my high end optics is crop damage shooting (hunting whitetail deer for 3 months on farm fields with dnr issued permits). This is does only so being able to ID a doe from a spike is important

Let’s get right to the No BS condensed version of what I was looking at

Target:
Abandoned house
550 yards
Gas grill as primary target
At or past legal shooting hours
All with sunshades on

All comparisons were done at the same time, same targets off tripods. All were done at the same powers. Primarily 15 and 25 power

At end of legal shooting light (2011 CST) here’s my thoughts

- NF vs ZCO- Both were very comparable at 15 power. With the ZCO slightly edging the NF in brightness. But very slightly

At 25 power and 27 (27 is max for ZCO) it was apparent. I compared at both powers. Not one set to 25 and other to 27. The grill in the NF appeared to be a grill. Black and stainless. Very obvious. However the ZCO at the same point could see the dials and emblem on the grill very well. While the NF washed it out. I adjusted both through the parallax range and checked for the best spots in both. My results stayed the same.

I also compared the two against farm equipment and siding. The ZCO had the upper hand on the details. At 15 power both were very comparable. The fact the ZCO performed this well at its max power was surprising.

So ZCO definitely had the upper hand in last light ID. But the 7-35 would probably work til last light for my use as well

- Now for the Arken. This is a $500 optic compared to $3600 and $4000 optics. So let’s not pretend they cost the same or we expect the same performance. That said

On 15 power the Arken had a haze. Like a white/washed out haze. Where the ZCO could see the knobs on the grill (this is 5 minutes after legal light) the Arken could barely tell it was a grill. Had I not looked earlier I’d have trouble IDing what I was looking at.

At 25 power forget it. I started at 25 and it was so washed out I looked to see if my scope was fogged up. It was that unusable. The house was a wash let alone the grill. But we’re talking a $500 optic.

- So in the end. The ZCO is a step on the NF but not truly until last light was it to the point where I’d say I’d make a mistake shooting a spike vs a doe. With the light pictured below they were very comparable. The ZCO edged out the NF but it wasn’t “oh my god I’m selling this NF for another ZCO”

This test in fact told me the NF isnt going anywhere. If your picking between both on a table grab the ZCO. But I wouldn’t take a huge loss on the NF to upgrade. Just my opinion

Now other features I’ve noted using both recently,

- The illumination on the ZCO hands down is better than the push button on the NF

- The non rotating ocular on the ZCO hands down beats the NF. Especially running a triggercam

- Turrets. This is where it gets tricky. Honestly the NF turrets are awesome. I like the locking feature on the ZCO but feel and sound definitely don’t have a clear winner. The NF holds its own here

- Reticle MPCT3 vs Mil XT. I still think the Mil XT is the shit. It’s just perfectly designed and I’m used to it. So my preference is still Mil XT

- Parallax. ZCO hands down. More forgiving and the numbers are almost spot on. So you can reliably set it based on range. NF is about 300 yards off and you have to adjust looking through the scope

That’s my take on hunting several times (way more with NF) with both. Then incorporating the Arken just because many wonder, including me, how it stacks up

ZCO527/AI AT 308
NF 7-35/Vudoo 360 .22
Arken EP5/Tikka T1X .22

6arc

Really kicking around the idea of a 6 arc build for a night time coyote rig.
Im thinking 80 gr bullets is where I would like to be , but don’t really know yet how they will do in the arc .
The new 80 gr eld-vt looks to me to be a good idea, but who knows when or if they will show up.

I would love to hear thoughts from you guys that have tried 6arc.
