Howdy. Looking to sell this lightly used ATACR scope. This was on a soft shooting 6 ARC AR build; it's seen less than 150 rounds through it. I like others have aging eyes and this scope doesn't have enough legs for me; probably going to go with a 5-25 but I will be doing better research on the next purchase. All parts included as well as stickers. This can be yours for $2250 shipped and insured with the Condition One mount and One Hundred Concepts caps. This is an expensive item, so I'm happy to do a Zoom/Facetime for additional inspection prior to purchase. PP F&F preferred unless you want to pick up the G&S fees. No notes. I'm an avid gun collector and done a lot of amateur gun smithing and restoration on my own firearms. I've been a clays and wingshooter since I was a kid. I got into long range precision shooting about ten years ago and did OK, not great, in local matches. I've moved around the country a lot and had no solid roots anywhere. It was my good fortune to retire early and be in good health. Now when I wake up I decide what I'm going to do with my day. When I leave eastern NC it will be feet first.

I have some natural marksmanship ability with long guns and pistols, but over the years I devoted most of my time to becoming a better pistol shooter, investing a huge amount of time and effort into defensive and competitive pistol shooting. Sporting clays remains a regular thing for me. I have done a lot of deer hunting and elk hunting in challenging backcountry. Also bighorn a couple of times.

I'm in great shape physically but don't hunt much anymore mostly because being cold and wet bothers me more than it used to. I'd like to work on improving my ability on long range precision shooting. I've already learned a few things just reading posts here. I decided it was time to join and get a bit more engaged. My goal is to improve my abilities at 800-1000 yards and I'm also interested in 50 cal shooting of any kind.

I like craft beer done well and small batch bourbon. Also enjoy a good gin martini or quality scotch before consuming a really good steak.

That's pretty much my story. Glad to be here.

I recently purchased an Accuracy International AT rifle (serial number 23AT2****), which is supposedly made in 2023. After shooting for the first time the next day, I noticed rust had developed on the import mark portion of the receiver (see pic). I shot 20 rounds to zero in my scope recently on a rainy day (it has been raining in Northern California every weekend recently), and I wiped it down as much as I could at the range and then cased it. Several hours later, when I got home, I noticed rust spots developing.

I know rain is bad and the rust is only cosmetic, but it bothers me that a $5k rifle could behave like this. Rust is also found on the nitrocellulose certification marking and the bolt release catch (pic 2&3). Even my 80+ years old surplus military rifle is more durable than this. How could AI not consider the elements as a factor when engraving this rifle (the 2023 version, at least)?

If I remember correctly, the import marks on the AW and even earlier AT rifles were painted over with white paint or some sort of finish instead of leaving engraved bare steel letters exposed to the elements. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I’m wondering if this is covered under warranty. Many thanks!

He is not responding to my private messages. The way I look at it is shipped means shipped and received. He is not offering me anything not even the $100.00 minimum insurance that you get with all packages.

Welp… I was gonna keep it and bring it to Kenya with me, but as it FAQING turns out — for some IDIOTIC DAMN FARGIN’ BASTAGE REASON — Nightforce scopes are DAMN FRICKIN’ ITAR CONTROLLED, and therefore CANNOT be taken out of the frickin’ country!!!

WHAT IN THE LITERAL FACK?!?!

When I first got it, I fell in love with this thing. I was super stoked to put it on a nice, new AXSR I’ll have waiting for me over there when we make our final move after the year-end holidays.

So… it has never been mounted or shot. I briefly mocked-up the scope and rings just to oogle it for a few minutes, then put everything back in the factory packaging.

I know legit websites, like EuroOptic and others, only reflect MAP — which is $3,950 for the C662 and $325 for the perfectly matched A696 NF HD Ultra Mount, for a total MAP/List of $4,275 plus tax. I also know that certain dudes with credentials and whatnot can get some nice discounts off MAP.

I’ll list TRADE VALUE at MAP - $4,275.

Cash price wil be $3,250 *shipped* to CONUS via insured FedEx Ground — O.B.O. I think dudes with creds may be able to get a better price, so we’ll see where this goes and if this is a reasonable asking price, which is why I include “OBO”, so feel free to toss me your offer(s).

Also, for the moment I will NOT be separating the scope/mount unless or until the scope is sold/traded and the buy doesn’t want it.

I think most of us here love to support the people willing to put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms. In the last few years, some of these individuals have started businesses with a quality, no-compromise product. A great example is Black Rifle Coffee to many of the products we use to shoot our matches.

Anyway, Dave Castro, Former Navy Seal, CrossFit Guru (officially he's more than that), Competitive Rifle Shooter, and Match Director, started a new company selling super bougie Extra Virgin Olive Oil.. While I've shot matches against Dave (the guy can shoot), I have no affiliation with him.

I bought a few bottles to give away as gifts, but was so happy with the product, that I put most of it in my cabinet.

Anyway, I opened my box and snapped a couple of images with my phone..

True story, the flag in the background blew in the frame even though there was not much wind at the time. I was just placing the bottle on my deck to have the valley across my backyard as a backdrop.. Cool picture but super weird.

MRAD in multi role brown. Older model that requires a breech conversion to go to smaller calibers which is included.

Comes with 2 barrels. 308 has under 100 rounds. Carbon Fiber 300 PRC has 635 rounds. Both barrels have matching bolt heads.

Rifle itself in excellent condition with only a few minor marks.

Comes with 2 308 magazines and Harris bipod and hard case.

$5000 obo for it all. I’ll split shipping 50/50 which I expect to be pricey considering how heavy this thing is. I’ll be using an FFL to ship most likely.
