Anyone seen these? Curious about what a blueprinted, nitrided savage action would feel like. My hunting rifle is a savage 116, and it's an accurate workhorse, but holy shit is the bolt lift and close stiff as hell. That's a big reason why I want to upgrade to something higher quality. Just another savage 110 stealth with a different chassis?

I was suggested to go with 6BR for both F class and PRS matches.
For the past 1 month, there's literally 0 brass to buy anywhere (in Canada).
If I cannot reload ammo for 6BR, there's no point in a 6BR rifle. What's the next best after 6BR I can go with for F class AND PRS?
6mm creedmore is available but sparse, should I go with 6.5CM then?

Any opinions or suggestions please?

Looking for some suggestions / help in finding a smallish tripod (primary use while prone) with an arca mount. I would prefer not to break the bank but I dont want cheap, chinese that will break in 6 months - so what are folks using?

WTB a 1:10 308 or 1:8 6.5 CM barrel for either a tikka t3 or TL3.

Primarily looking for 16” steel barrels (can cut down if needed) but would consider 16” CF barrels as well.

As far as their brake and comp functionality, I’d rate them about identical. The vision brake is a little less abusive on the shooter and is lighter weight.

Hey all,

Signed up blind for a 2-day team sniper match for the first time. Looking for recommendations on a pack. I’ve shot local PRS before but never something where vehicle access is disallowed.

I plan to carry a rifle, tripod, gamechanger, rf binos, and ~200rds ammo as the main components. Range allows for rifles to be slung or packed during movement between stages. The course between stages is a few miles and described as hilly.

Looking to sell my lightly used Burris XTR III 5.5-30x56 Mil Illuminated with Vortex Pro Series 34mm 1.10" centerline. Sat on my rifle in the safe, but I'm switching to a lighter option. Above is my log for a lot of Lapua Center X. Wondering if the trending higher velocities is the barrel "breaking in" or possibly temp related. Extreme spreads and standard velocity are staying around ~ 38.7 and 7.7 FPS respectively but the MAX, MIN and AVE are creeping up.

Using a Garmin Xero Chrono.

Rifle is a Vudoo 360 w/ a 24" 1:16R 5 Groove 1.20" Bartlein Barrel.

Savage Elite Precision in 6creed with upgraded bolt. Bolt has been fluted and a bushing kit has been added (Total $430) to lighten the bolt lift. Rifle has 300 rounds through it and shoot half minute with factory 107's. Bought it for my son and had the bolt work done so he could run it as a legit comp rifle this year, but he hasn't shot it and does not intend to as he has decided to dissapoint his father and be a techie pacifist. My loss is your gain as the rifle was $1600 + $430 bolt work and I'm selling it for $1700.
