Starting a small casting company - need feedback

My good friend and I are going to start a casting company in the next 3 months. Nothing too big. He has been wanting a side job as he is semi retired and I realized I have all the equipment to run a small casting shop. I can get custom molds and dies easily so the sky is the limit.

I'm looking for feedback from you guys regarding what bullet sizes you would be most interested in. I can do odd stuff like gas checked bullets for 9.3x62, or gas checked .310 bullets for a Finnish Mosin. I can do long range bullets for the BPCR stuff.

We will obviously support things like 45-70, 38-55, 10mm, 44 mag (.430 to .432), 38, and the .510 stuff.

If any of you guys want cast bullets for a .510 Whisper I can get the dies for that.

We don't have the massive industrial machines or volume to compete with HSM or guys like that, so we plan on meeting market demand more in the niche stuff.

Obviously once we actually start the business I'll get a supporter account. This is not a for sale post. I am just gauging interest to know what dies to order beyond what I already have.

I may have the opportunity next year to set up a similar company in Europe due to some unique circumstances. I am checking into the regulations regarding that. Maybe you EU guys will then get to have more options that are actually cost effective, too.

Let me know below what sizes you want and I'll see what we can do.

Thanks.

Suppressors Suppressor Mounts: Weight and Length

Hey folks!

I wanted to provide a summary of some mounting options out on the market for HUB or 1.375x24 threaded suppressors. There are a ton of systems out on the market, each with their own spec, weights, and lengths, and I wanted to highlight some of what I've found through experience, to help inform purchase decisions. Hopefully this sparks some discussion or encourages some thought about your own setups, and why you choose what you did.

I will say that I am currently switching to rearden atlas for my sdn6, coming from keymo and hellfire. This is temporary until I have a dedicated bolt gun can, but I want to share between bolt guns and gas guns...until my kgm r30 clears. Then it's back to hellfire for bolt guns for me.

Holler! Photos below for you visual learners.

Mount overview
System weight: muzzle device and bravo spec adapter weight.
Length added to suppressor: adapter length when added to suppressor.
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: length of total system when muzzle device is inside adapter.

Keymo.
System weight: 8.4oz.
Length added to suppressor: 1.15".
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: 1.32"

Area 419 Hellfire.
System weight: 3.3oz.
Length added to suppressor: 0.35".
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: 0.35

Plan B spec/Rearden Atlas.
System weight: 4.4oz.
Length added to suppressor: 0.5".
Length added from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor: 0.65".

Keymo Pros.
Good lockup.
Industry support.

Keymo cons.
Heavy.
Long.

Area 419 hellfire pros.
Lightest overall.
Minimal length added.
Ability to run highly effective muzzle brakes when un suppressed.
Amazing return to zero.
Adapters for nearly every suppressor made.
Best for precision rifle applications.

Area 419 cons.
Looks goofy AF on small diameter barrels.
Limited muzzle device options.
Muzzle device is separate from suppressor mount.

Plan B/Rearden Atlas pros.
Light and compact for QD style system. Solid overall system.
Usable muzzle devices when un suppressed.
Effective taper mount.
Lots of aftermarket support.
Affordable.
Threads feel buttery.

SOLD Sold Manners LRH SA Sage Flats MCS M5 Mini Chassis

Used Manners LRH SA Sage Flats MCS M5 Mini Chassis. Been on a handful of hunts from Mexico to AK with it and it's never let me down. Replaced the Arca with a Solomon River plate because the manners was so out of spec and had to adjust ARCA back and forth between binos and rifle. This has flush cups left and right front and back. Flush cup bottom rear. Front bottom pic rail with flush cup in that also. Just went to an adjustable LOP on a Nightstalker and dealing with the weight penalty.

$920 delivered. Venmo, zelle, or PPFF. No card on this one as it's a personal item. Sold.

Neck Tension and Pressure Signs

I've been struggling in my 6.5-CM loads with pressure signs (heavy bolt, extractor swipe marks, etc.) in loads that absolutely should "not" be delivering them. I'm talking about velocities that are hundreds of fps slower (2400-ish) than factory ammo (2700-ish) ... that by the way ... shoots with no pressure signs whatsoever. I was at a match this weekend whining about this, and an experienced shooter (that won the match) told me to loosen my neck tension and see if that helped. I'd never thought about that, but it does make sense that if the bullet is too tight in the case mouth, it could build up internal pressure that causes pressure signs but doesn't translate into higher projectile velocity. I size necks with a bushing tie, and then expand prior to seating with a L.E.Wilson Mandrel Die ... but that die is specifically and only equipped with a generic 6.5 mandrel. Assuming it's money well-spent, I've ordered the 21st Century die and mandrel kit to give me the ability to precision size my case mouths (the kit has a range of mandrel sizes over and under the standard) ... and see if I can solve this problem.

Anybody here agree ... that excess neck tension can cause pressure signs with low velocities? Just curious what the heavy-hitters here think about that. And ... am I on the right track with the 21st Century mandrel kit? Thanks! This whole journey is about continuous improvement ... at least that's what I keep telling myself.
